CL, Liverpool vs Chelsea, 08/04/09, 19:45 BST
Well done Drogba...gets hungrier every time he misses a chance. He can be downright frustrating at times but was a huge factor for us tonight. I am sorry for saying he should be taken off, but what a way to prove me wrong!

CL, Liverpool vs Chelsea, 08/04/09, 19:45 BST
Now the question is, we've undoubtedly been the better team, do we go for the kill in the second half? Or do we take the conservative approach, stay tight and organized and hope to catch them on the break?

Well done Petr
Wow, what a stat. Had two immense saves at Portsmouth and we wouldn't be the same team without him. Congrats!

2009/2010 shirt 'leaked'
Haven't bought a shirt since we left Umbro for Adidas. Last shirt I bought was our centenary Blue/Gold Shirt, with Terry at the back, Still looks absolutely beautiful!

Tough, Tough blow. The mental side is possibly harder to recover from than the physical side. Get well soon!

Hiddink In Talks
Will admit that I was wrong that Roman had no "Plan B" as it seems like he had this up his sleeve all along. Good piece of business here, let's hope Gus whips our players into shape!

SCOLARI SACKED
We are run like an absolute circus. One has to wonder how Abramovich made so much money with such an inept management philosophy. Yes, Scolari's reign had all the signs pointing towards this happening, but this just seems like the worst timing ever. This isn't a calculated and planned move with a "plan B" in place. This seems like an impulsive act of a tyrant during one of his tantrums. Chelsea now has: An ageing squad that lacks pace Not one, but two, moody, disgruntled strikers A tyrant for an owner A meddling middleman in Peter Kenyon Seemingly frozen transfer funds With so much pressure to perform and so little confidence from the powers that be, no wonder Scolari was scared to play the youngsters! Whoever steps in now will either have to be tremendously courageous, ridiculously foolish, or just extremely well-paid o_o FYI, I do believe Scolari should've been sacked....from what it sounds like, he has lost the dressing room and I think that is the number 1 reason to fire any manager. However, I feel like the timing of it all is horrendous. Why couldn't we have done it before the transfer window to at least give the new person a chance to bring in some of his transfer targets + backroom staff? Who out of the current coaching staff would stay with Wilkins? I doubt anybody that Scolari brought in. I suppose now it's up to Terry to organize training and the groundskeeper to lay out cones! Maybe Abramovich might even lead the tactical chalk talk! WHo knows??!! Anybody up for an Abramovich/Kenyon coaching team?? HA, I wouldn't be surprised

PL, Chelsea vs Hull, 07/02/09, 1500 GMT
Why work hard when your manager gives you NO INCENTIVE to work hard? Same substitutions at the same time....EVERY GAME. Doesn't matter if you've been playing well or sh*t, you know that Scolari's Portugeezers are going to come on no matter what. Then why play hard? From top to bottom, Chelsea = Cronyism. We are a joke.

FFS 12 corners and nothing to show for it. I'm tempted to look up corners to goals ratios of every team in the PL and see where we stand. At this rate, we might as well play it short and keep possession because our set-pieces are downright abysmal.

line him up and shoot him
Not sure if Premiership players get paid during the offseason, but if they do: 130k a week x 52 weeks in a year = $6.75 Million Pounds Hardly pocket change for a player that delivers so little in terms of results, effort, passion or even future potential. Not a good investment here.

Unsung heroes
Both of the Super Marios (Stanic and Melchiot) Albert Ferrer Le Saux Jesper Gronkjaer, couldn't cross for his life but loads of pace and exciting to watch when in full flight. Scored some important goals for us too. and.... Jokanovic...just kidding :P

Best Chelsea Comebacks.....
Two games that stick out in my mind was during the 2002/2003 season Vs Leeds: I don't even know where to start with this game. Looked to be just one of those nights where Leeds nicked one early on and then parked the bus. Went in at half time extremely frustrated, but then a moment of brilliance from Guddy with an overhead kick brings us level. Leeds score another, but in the last ten minutes, Lampard single-handedly powers Chelsea to a 3-2 win. Vs. Liverpool: Last game of the season, 4th place and CL up for grabs. We go down 1-0 to a Hyppia header, but Desailly equalizes within a minute. Gronkjaer then curls a fantastic winner around 10 minutes later, and we hold on for the win. No last minute heroics, but arguably the match that saved Chelsea as Abramovich bought the club that summer saving us from bankruptcy. Both games was jumping up and down in my room like a mad man at 10 AM in the morning (US Time).....Didn't even watch the match as those days, was at a boarding/prep school and followed Chelsea on Big Blue Radio every Saturday due to lack of TV coverage. Brings back good memories :P

MOTM vs Middlesbrough
Couldn't watch the match but it's good to see us finally scoring from corners. Anyone have any idea what Kalou's goal celebration is all about? Might be a good question for Week 16's Quiz!!

Carlo to Spurs
Extremely disappointed that we let him go to F-ing Spurs for nothing, but for Carlo personally, I think this is the best move. Always loved Carlo and even playing for Tottenham won't change that. Thank you for 10 great years and best of luck in everything you do! ...Except for when he plays against us
