Not the first time this has been brought up! I'd be gutted if he left us for that bunch of c*nts. Someone needs to go and explain to Carlo just how much we hate those bas*ards!!!! Carlo has been a great servant to the club, from his days apprenticing De Goey, to being our first team stopper, and then to coming in as the back up to Petr........He can't leave us for THAT lot!

WAIT!!!!!!!! HE'S ACTUALLY GONE????? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone better go calm down Val, quickly. I suggest one of your many "coffee" shops!

If that is true, and he goes to Spurs for a pittance, it really is the last f**king straw with our club management.

This is probably the best backup keeper in the world, and we are going to sell him to a club we hate for practically nothing? We cant find an Italian club who will pay more than that? He isnt better than Cristian Abbiatti and Alex Manninger? No, I think its better we just give him for nothing to a team we will play at least twice a year.

Unless he wants to go there, specifically, disgust isnt even the appropriate word for this. This isnt even bad for footballing decisions, a child playing a videogame doesnt make this move.

Jesus, it boggles the mind. 8 million for that worthless carthorse Gomes, and 1 million for Carlo Cudicinni. I will be enraged, livid, you name it.

Anyone but Spuds, Scum or Dirty L*eds FFS!!! Don't mind letting him go, he deserves first team footie but Spuds?!

Truth .. 1 mil quid

Cuds gone... good servant and really hope he has a great 5-yr career at Spurs before retirement. We'll miss him. He was one rated as a top prospect before Cech's appearance. Speaking of this... Cech looks pathetic these days. ::clap2::

Rumour ... 9 mil quid

Linked to Valencia ? Great winger and will be an asset. But would we spend the 12 mil we got from Bridge? Nevermind... we can get perhaps another 7 from Malouda to Valencia.

Fantasy...unknown.

Just hoping that we can get someone like Yuri Zhirkov.. fantastic individual effort against Lokomotiv Moscow & Hamburg.

Young Ronaldinho is his name. But mere fantasy as he could cost at least 15-20 mil quid. :yeahthat:

Oh Kenyon, I hate you so much.

Carlo at f**king Spurs I think I'm going to be sick.

kenyon really is a prick. you can just imagine the press conference:

"Peter, absolute madness selling a great keeper like Carlo isn't it? Your bound to have had a really good offer though, how much did you recieve for him?"

the resemblance is uncanny

Cudicini going is not only the truth its painful truth. Although what ever he wants we should give to him. What better servant to the club can you imagine than Carlo? Never moaned after Petr rightfully took his place never looking back. True gentleman.

Valencia? You mean the Wigan player? 21 apps, 3 goals, 2 yellows and 1 red, that Valencia?

I wouldn't put Zhirkov in fantasy category and I think we should try to get him in the summer.

Supporting Chelsea is becoming too much of a chore. It seems that not a week goes by without the club f*cking up in some way, be it on the pitch or off it.

If this report is true, I really don't understand letting Carlo go, especially to the N17 scum. If he'd decided to return to Italy, I'd have understood perfectly, and wished him well - but so far as I'm concerned, if he's gone to Spuds he's just another scum Spuds player.

Cech's form has been sproradic, and I've often felt this season that Carlo should be given a short run in the side. Now all we've got as backup is Hilario, as I'm not at all sure that Rhys Taylor is ready. Unless we're in the market for a promising young keeper on the quiet, I just don't understand this deal at all.

I wouldn't take what you read in the papers as truth, mate. It may yet materialize, but I have yet to see official confirmation anywhere.

Yet, it certainly would be painful to lose another favorite to Tottenham, especially for Valerie. But I've always maintained he deserves to play regularly. I'm amazed he's stayed with us this long.

Cheers,

Butch

Please. God. No.

Worst news ever to wake up to, it better be nothing more than a cruel rumour.

The thing I don't get is - IF this rumour is true, and I hope its not, what makes you think he will be a first-choice keeper ?

Gomes has been very hit and miss, but its not like he will be dropped in favour of Carlo

I am worried about Val's absence from this thread. Is she prostrate with grief? Or has she defected to Slurs along with her favourite fantasy?

Carlo is 35 and is apparently on the last year of his contract so selling him now makes sense for Kenyon but I'd imagine we could have gotten more than 1m and the idea of seeing him playing for that scum makes it even worse.

Then again, PK must have gotten some indication from Carlo that he wanted to go somewhere else where he'll get playing time before it's too late and Spuds are rich enough to offer him good personal terms.

Still sickening,though.

perhaps it's a matter of the club doing the right thing for Carlo. He has one year left on his contract, probalbly been told they will not look to renew it next eason and that if he would like a chance at another club with a longer contract they would allow him to leave with thanks and best wishes.

perhaps the only club (whcih Carlo would be intersted in) to show an interest was Spurs, would you expect the club to say no to Carlo earning a few more dollars in the twi light of his career simply becuase Chelsea fans dont like Spurs?

either way, if it's true, thank you Carlo

Carlo has been one of my favourite players since he appeared for the Chelsea first team, so of course I wish him well, I thought I'd made that perfectly clear in my first post in this thread. But on the other hand, on a purely personal note, I can't wish any Chelsea player well who goes to Spuds including Carlo, Poyet or especially Durie. I'd be happy for Carlo to leave for any other club in the world than Spuds, with the obvious exception of the scousescum, Septic & L**ds.

Asking me whether I'd expect the club to say no to Carlo is a bit irrelevant - the choice will be Carlo's, nobody can make him sign for them. And let's face it, Kenyon would sell his own family into slavery if it suited him.

bluebeard, my post was a general reponse and not directed at anyone in particular.

and you are right, no one can make him sign or NOT sign, it's his choice.
