I see that skank Mourinho has been spouting off again.
The only thing he deserves is to be forced to the floor, have his head held back by a grasped clump of hair from his rapidly thinning scalp, and then have the bulls**t beaten out of his body. He's absolutely full of the stuff.
Are Manchester United not top yet? I thought he was supposed to lead them to the title?

Managerial fraudster, charlatan and sh*tehawk Jose Mourinho wrote him off. His imbecilic flock of sheep wrote him off and didn't even want him in the squad. Decent, proper Chelsea fans felt he deserved a chance to at least prove himself.
That chance has arrived (thanks to a proper manager and not a chequebook wielding asset stripper), and he's taken it.

When did this happen exactly? Scolari is the only manager that you could argue the team picked up form as soon as he left, but from all accounts, he was pretty terrible here, and probably shouldnt have gotten the job in the 1st place.
The whole player power nonsense is media invented as yet another way to disparage our club.
Do people honestly beleive that a dressing room containing cech, jt, cole, lamps, ballack, and Drogba, would play poorly on purpose to get a manager sacked?
Personally i think it is absurd.

I'm sorry I really don't like arguing with people on here, as ultimately we're all Chelsea fans. But these are some of the strangest views on our club I've ever encountered.
You sound like a Mourinho fan rather than a Chelsea one. That era is over, he's moved on and as have we. We have an exciting coach with new ideas that currently are working better than anything tried in the past two seasons. Four wins and four clean sheets, enjoy this period of great performances and get behind the team as opposed to shunning them in the way you are.
By all means continue with the cloud of negativity, this is only my opinion but there we go that's what forums are for :)

Now admittedly, I'm not a fan of Jose Mourinho. I've never kept that a secret.
However a lot of my fellow Chelsea fans are and in my opinion, kept him in a job last season with their overwhelming support on matchdays. Far longer than he deserved to be with his appalling conduct, "asset stripping" long term planning and to put it lightly, questionable tactics.
That's the measure of the man. Maybe a few more will now see and judge him how I do.
He's also in rapid decline as a manager, and something tells me I'm not a lone voice with this viewpoint anymore.

    This.
It's a dig, as clear as day.
And a shameful one too when you consider there were fans who sang his name through the very lowest points of last season. *And, on the evidence of this thread, would still sing his name now.

No it actually was a dig at us and given his past criticism of our fans it sure seems like a shot at us. here's the full quote
"It was a big defeat [at Chelsea], numbers that the history of this club doesn't deserve," he said. "Obviously when I am in a club my heart belongs to the fans and I felt deeply for them
"But the reality is that I never had people like these. We lost 4-0 and they were supportive.
"Today the stadium was full – not full of people, full of real support – and it looks like the love that people have for the club is bigger than bad results, bigger than three bad seasons".
So when were in 16th last year and the entire stadium sang his name that wasnt being supportive? He's bitter we smashed his ass here at the bridge. Real Support? So I guess us Chelsea fans aren't real supporters. I can guarantee you those "great fans" wouldn't be singing his name if they were in 16th place and fighting relegation.
edit: I'm not trying to be anti jose nothing could be further from the truth. Hes a f**king icon and He's given me and countless others the best memories we could have hoped for as chelsea fans but I just don't understand why he needs to take a sh*t at us fans. We never stopped backing him and then he just acts like we were never real football fans.

The more control Mourinho gets at Manchester United, the weaker they will become.

As for which tier I'd put him in, I'd say whichever tier is closest to the sewers then you'll find him in there, slithering in his own sh*t and creating an insufferable stench for others to bear.

They're blinded by him now, but eventually, they will see through him at Old Trafford. Then, he will die a slow, painful footballing death. Drowning in the angry spittle of a million Manchester United supporters. He will be forever tainted. Ruined. And I will love every single second of his demise.

Tony Blair delivered Labour their record third term. Doesn't mean he did them any long term good, or that he escaped being despised by some in the party.

In one season, everyone, including the United fans who have talked themselves into thinking he's the second coming, and the deluded on The Shed End who think he could do no wrong, will see him exactly as I do: a sh*tehawk, a bully, a charlatan, a fraudster and a c**t.

As much as it pains me to say it, but if we aren't going to splash serious cash, we need somebody to emulate what Pochettino has done at White Hart Lane. Feels like groundhog day, but we have no identity, no clear strategy, just a bunch of attacking midfielders who flatter to deceive.

We need to give Conte time to implement a clear structure and work with his squad- no firing in January when the going gets tough, though I'm not holding my breath.

The decision to send Lukaku back out on loan after his successful premiership transition season at West Brom in favour of bring Eto'o is was singularly the worst decision Jose made. To think he preferred Eto'o, Torres and Ba. No wonder he said he was the happy one he must have been smoking some top notch weed when he made that decision.

He's about third in line for managerial credit for 2012, and as good as asset stripped our squad the first time round.

As for also rans, in 2013/14, Torres, Eto'o and Ba as his strikeforce wasn't the brightest idea and in his first season back where he should have had weight and clout behind him, he could have easily rectified that. He didn't and we came up short when it mattered. He gets an unbelievably free ride there for what was a colossal mistake, particularly then if you're stupid enough to slag said strike force off and get caught doing it.

Ultimately though, he finished third in a league season where Brendan Rodgers bettered him point for point.

As for the players you mentioned, take Diego Costa. Mourinho signed a striker who'd come off the back of a 36 goal season and then damaged him in such a way that Hiddink has now got more goals out of him in two months than what Mourinho managed in the whole of 2015. Special.

He won't. But that’s a bet for those among us who think he’s the "closest guarantee to winning a trophy" to make, not me.

I’m not only confident that he won’t make a success of the United job, but that he’ll also make a monumental cockup of the job too, so there’s a few more terms (which let’s remember aren’t get out clauses, they’re all weighted against me, I only have to trip up on one and it's a full donation I'm making).

In my very first line, I went out my way to say between the start and end of next season. Which unless football has changed, means kick-off on the opening day to the final whistle on the final day of the season.

In your infinite wisdom, you pick a point that's clearly before the start of the season to attack me with. Good work.

Spend as much money as you like, but build something while you’re doing it. That’s his limitation though, He can’t work with what he’s been given and he can’t build for the long term. ‘Rip it up and start again’ is his only way, and it’s just not the right approach for any club trying to establish themselves in a time where every penny counts. He had to find a better way, but he didn’t. He failed, leaving us burnt out and a point or two off the relegation zone.

And as for low net spend, the Individual deserves no applause for inheriting a promising squad, selling off some great young talent and then squandering the money on players we’ve had to loan to Italy just to get them out of our hair, players who aren't fit enough to make the bench and players he’s then unable (due to his own limitations) to get a tune out of after twelve months.

Great player, nice kid. Wrongly characterised by many as being arrogant and having a massive ego.

I think he’s genuinely struggled with the demands of carrying an attack. A lot was placed on his shoulders by the previous manager and I think as a club we let him down over the summer by not identifying a star performer to take the strain and attacking responsibility off him. Although we did sign Pedro, there is a genuine conundrum about Oscar’s consistency and that makes us short of genuine, reliable quality across the band of three. I dread to think what would have happened if Willian didn’t step up in such a way. We need to do more this summer. Long term, you cannot burn out players or get away with playing the same names week in week out if you're playing 50 plus games a season. Absolute idiocy from the previous manager and thankfully he's paid the price.

I don’t like how the Press constantly throw Hazard into the Messi v Ronaldo debate and make it seem like he’s failing or falling short. Talent wise at least, he’s on a level with the likes of Bale, Reus, Ribery and Robben and there’s no shame in that. It’s a great place to be.

I think he’s coming back into form and contributing more as the season goes on. European Championships and World Cups must weigh on a player’s mind though, particularly one who is a flag bearer for his country and has underwhelmed in a previous tournament.  Maybe he is guilty of saving himself a bit. As for us though, I think he owes us some big performances at the business end of the season. And he knows it. Hopefully he can carry that out, starting tonight.

He will leave us one day, but I hope he genuinely stretches himself at a Real Madrid, if still interested, rather than take an easy option like a Bayern or PSG. I hope we hold on to him for as long as we can and if still around, I hope the next manager (Conte?) truly values him because it will be incredibly difficult to replace him.
