I'd almost agree.. If Costa goes on to never score again and falls into Chelsea obscurity then I'd have to look back over the last 10 years and say our strikers have been disasters (baring Drobga. That's IF Costa fails to start scoring again. I think he will. I'm also not saying it's neccesairly been the strikers fault, some of them were played out of position, not given a run of games, expected to do more with 2 minutes at the end of the game because they were behind an obvious first choice.

Yeah I'm not sure, my level of knowledge only goes so far, it could be CA but then again it could someone from anywhere else in the world. I just think there seem to be a lot of success stories in signing a player that had performed well and was on the improve and then joined another club in a tougher league and got even better... We seem to going down the path of.. Okay, this blokes been putting in goals for Juve, Inter, Napoli, Bayern, Dortmund, PSG, Barca or Whoever.. so they are clearly world class and we should sign them to our world class club. The whole signing of a world class striker thing just doesn't always work and may not be our answer.

I think even Benteke and Bony are one step ahead of the strikers I'm talking about though. They would both expect to start if signed to Chelsea, i don't think it's all that healthy. I want players to know they are good enough to start and play well, but to never expect it and to always try to improve.

I've never shared the same thoughts as most in that Jose sold Mata because he had Oscar for that position, I think it's deeper than that. For what ever reason now though, I think Mourinho would prefer to play the out of form creative types than go with play Oscar

I'm not suggesting we move Costa on, but this is just a thought for having better striking options to assist with or replace Costa, if it comes to that. If I can use Drogba as an example; When he first arrived he had certainly hit a few goals in across the channel, but I don't think anyone was calling him World Class at that stage. I also know it's pretty easy to say, why not sign 1 or 2 of the next big things and have them long term..However maybe the answer isn't someone who is an established world beater? Perhaps if we had a number of options that all knew their career lay ahead of them, rather than living off their reputation and what they had achieved in the past, we might have more stability and success up front for a longer period of time. A number of options with good promise, different game styles, all looking to impress and build a career, happy to compete for their place in the side and understanding they may not always start, might be a better option. I'm not suggesting a raw 18 year old, and I'm also not suggesting signing anyone that needs constant time on the pitch to develop. Rather, a couple of strikers who look like and want to take their game to the next level. Pelle would be an example, he may be a few years past the prime for this theory, but something like him 2-3 years ago?

Oh no doubting GTA is a much bigger franchise, i just think Fallout offers something entirely different than any other game, it has more substance. So for me and other gamers I know, the build up and the anticipation for Fallout and the decisions you will have to make, the options you will have in the game, the world and it's capabilities/look/feel have been mammoth. Where as, and granted GTA was hugely talked about from all people, I don't think many of those people gave it as much in depth thought as to how they were going to play it.. they just wanted to play it. Love both, just more pumped for this.

To say it's the most anticipated game in years would be an understatement for mine, may also prove to be a burden for the game. Essentially the game/controls are the same as Skyrim but in an entirely different setting. I'm very biased towards Bethesda games so can't give you an honest opinion of where they sit compared to other open worlds... but if you liked Skyrim you'll love Fallout.

Saw someone mentioned Graziano Pelle.. haven't read too much on hear about him. Scores goals quite consistently, has a couple of elements to his game, is certainly passionate about his current club and if we gave him the backing I think he could do quite well for us. Not sure Mourinho would be a fan though

Ramires' energy in the last two games got us our only goal and with a better finish should have got us a point on Saturday.. I admit that second point is a bit wishy washy, but if his energy canget us a goal every 1,2,3 games, and the rest of the team stand up, it's handy to have.. Agree RLC should be on the park though

I would have yes, I love the way he plays, and I think he would have held his own. I guess will never know bu hopefully your right and we'll know by the end of next season

Did you even read my comments? All i wanted to know was, is the level of interest in him as a youth as big at other clubs as it is at ours? And what price could he go for? Both reasonable questions because of my previously mentioned points about him not playing as much as a lot of people had hoped.

I'm sorry did we only acquire him after our championship winning season? My point still stands, he couldn't get a game when we were winning and and he can't get a decent chance when players ahead of him have been out of form.

Zouma didn't get a lot game time because there were two ahead of him playing extremely well. Having said that, he still played in some big matches, important matches in a defensive midfield role (pretty sure against Man City?) RLC couldn't get a game when we were winning, can't get a game when the seniors are playing sh*t and can't make the bench for some games. I think he's been really promising every opportunity he has had. I'm seriously doubting that he will ever get through to the first team and want to know what we would get for him if sold.
