At times he frustrates and is a little bit light weight but boy, I would take Summerville over any of our current wide men.

I know you're Neto's No. 1 critic and I do agree, he is pretty bad and I would be happy to see him moved on. But come on, compared to Garnacho he's nearly Messi-like. We shouldn't have signed either, but with Neto, he had looked okay(ish) at Wolves. Literally no-one thought Garnacho looked any good at Man United. We were all dead against him being signed and have all now been proved 100% right. He is sh*tE!

One thing I noticed about the City game yesterday was what a poor game Semenyo had. When I say poor, I obviously don't mean Garnacho level poor, but still poor none the less. Also wonder if he is known as Spunky in the changing room?

I love the idea of Fabregas, BUT only on the basis that he says "I do things my way with NO interference from the board or the SD's" (and better still, the SD's go). Let Cesc come in, give him full control on team matters plus the few players he needs and let's avoid being next season's Spurs.

Jorrel Hato *Official*
After having to watch the likes of Badiashile, Tosin and even Fofana and Chalobah at times, believe me, Hato is a breath of fresh air.

Eh? He made a number of good blocks and tackles last night and was our MOTM. He's only 20 and right now, looks the best option to partner Colwill next season - better than all the rest we currently have anyway.

Villa and Liverpool both getting late winners and 3 points. We get what we deserve - NO CL football.

Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
It's weird as he started yesterday's game looking a lot brighter. But with Estevao going off early and then us going a goal down, he faded badly, when it's him you are looking at to take the game by the scruff of the neck and get us back in it. Worrying.

MOTM vs Man Utd (H) (PL)
Hato showed a lot of quality both defending and going forward and was the only positive from yesterday.

What is this thing of LR keep bringing on Acheampong for the last 10 minutes? Fair play to the lad for coming on and looking enthusistic. If it was me I would say, f**k off, you should have brought me on at half-time. Think everyone agreed Hato was our best player by far yesterday. Now watch LR stick him back on the bench for the next few games and bring Tosin ot Chalobah back.

Pedro Neto *Official*
Neto must love it when Garnacho plays, 'cos it makes him look half decent! But bar a couple of whipped in crosses, he was his usual predictable, non-producing self. Boy, has any club ever had such useless wide men?

Garnacho HAS to be top of the list. No-one wanted us to sign him - it was a completely pointless signing and he looks worse every time he plays. His value will be down to zilch before much longer. Dreadful signing / useless player.

Chelsea vs Manchester United (PL) Saturday 18th April 20:00 GMT
I predicted a 0-0 before the game and if Fofana hadn't had to go off the pitch, 0-0 it would have been. Although we weren't terrible, once again I had no faith that we would score a goal. Just never looked like happening. Too light weight and no sense of urgency. Garnacho was dreadful, why oh why did we sign such a useless no hoper? Complete waste of space. Our best player and the one real positive was Hato. He played really well and at times took the ball forward better than anyone. Needs to start every game.

Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
You have to hope that it is these things, rather than he has got "found out" and opponents know how to deal with him now. Looking back to that first season under Poch, (and even first part of the Maresca era) he was a complete revelation. Things he was doing and the numbers he was producing were incredible and everyone was of the same opinion that Pep had dropped a massive clanger letting Palmer leave City. We all said how refreshing it was to see a player like Palmer play with no fear and enjoy his football - "like a kid playing in the playground". That has all but disappeared. He is still only 23 so let's hope it is just a blip and a mixture of the things you have mentioned as to get back the Palmer of 2023 would make a hell of a difference.

Chelsea vs Manchester United (PL) Saturday 18th April 20:00 GMT
Nicely summed up. As you say, we SHOULD have a fair chance of beating United, but that all depends on WHAT CFC shows up. I don't want to see this slow ponderous build up with passing around the back and Sanchez seeing far too much of the ball. We are at home so ATTACK FFS. Agree about Palmer, he is still by far our best player but something ain't right and we need him to be our game-changer again. Hope we win and pray it isn't another snooze fest or boring 0-0.

I had to suffer the Arsenal game as we have father in law staying with us and he's a gooner but boy, what a bore and I was seething when I kept seeing updates come through of the other game! That said, in the first half Sporting played some very good football. Looked much the better footballing side and all looked so comfortable on the ball and played it out from the back how it should be done - not the sort of stuff we have to witness and suffer. However, I saw Quenda come on after 70 minutes and he didn't do a great deal. Looks a strong possibility of being yet another Mudryk, Gittens, Garnacho..................................................

Palace going from Glasner to Rosenoir would be up there with some of the biggest PL downgrades of all-time. Bit like us going from Tuchel to Potter.

Super Frank Lampard
Another win for Saints last night. I've got a Saints supporting mate who has very mixed feelings. Over the moon with the run and the fact they could be in the PL next season, but also resigned to the fact they will probably lose this coach to a bigger club. Told him at least he can rule out CFC, as we only appoint yes-men with average coaching ability.

Play Up Pompey! Got a soft spot for Pompey as my nan & granddad lived about 5 minutes away from Fratton Park back in the '70's. Always hope they do well and that's a massive turnaround after the hammering they got from QPR a short while back.

So two top coaches, Glasner and Iraola will be available in the Summer and we're plodding away with Rosenoir. Truly sickening.

But that's what I'm saying - the rule is wrong and it's just another thing that is wrong with the game and is pissing off those involved in the game and supporters alike.

Not in his face though - back of his head / man bun. Little difference to shirt pulling.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2025/26
That sending off last night has caused a lot of controversy. Yes, it was a slight tug of the man bun, but very soft. Hardly violent conduct. These players with long hair and pony tails etc - fair game if you ask me! But when you see something as soft as that, getting punished with a red card and a 3 game ban, yet worse tackles go unpunished, it's yet another thing that's wrong with the modern game. Like our game at the weekend, a few tackles - no action but refs can't wait to wave the card if a players taps the ball away.

James being back would be massive. That said, we have been so average of late, you really feel we don't deserve CL football next season. Hope we get at, as I know how much it means financially, but the thought of getting totally embarrassed by the likes of PSG and Munich means I won't be too fussed if we do miss out.

Trouble is, I think we all have next to no faith in the owners and SD's to make a decent appointment and / or let the next coach have a free rein. If Boehly, Eghbali & Co could admit to their mistakes, fire the incompetent SD's and then appoint a coach who could also choose his own team, we might get back to looking like a proper club again. My choice would be Glasner or Iraola, just as it was before they appointed LR, but we know it won't happen and it looks like we are in for really bad period in our history. Sadly, I can only see thins getting a lot worse under this current regime.
