The Sterling/ Sanchez deal would not surprise me if it went through as Sterling is probably the last thing Arsenal need at the moment. Definitely a Wenger type player, skillful but lightweight who makes poor decisions and disappears in many matches.

Wing back, midfielder and Sanchez would be perfect end for this transfer window. Sanchez is done with Arsenal and he said he would prefer to stay at London, I don't know what is our board waiting, 100-110m would be enough in my opinion to get Sanchez and Oxlade here. This is the perfect timing to get us another world class player and we all know that players from Arsenal have fetish to sign for rivals lol, also this deal could help us to keep Hazard here for a long time. After his last statement it seems clear this is not about money, Arsenal won't meet his demand for 400k a week to keep him and he won't sign an extension for less regardless of how close it is to that figure.
They cannot offer him CL football and more importantly they have no desire to win, no amount of money can change that.

Been linked to City more than us but at the moment I struggle to see where he fits in? Sane, Sterling, Silva, KDB, Aguero and Jesus already at the club. Granted they've allowed Navas, Nolito and Iheanacho leave but it's one thing letting squad players like that leave and another signing someone like Sanchez. 
It's been quiet about Sanchez for a while now, I assume he's due to return to pre-season training soon after his involvement in the confederations cup so maybe in the next couple of weeks the speculation about his future will start up again.

We'd be silly if we weren't making that offer. Hazard and Sanchez's goals would allow us to develop Michy without the need for him to be a 20 goal plus striker.

I'd love Sanchez but I'd be shocked if hes sold to a PL side. If theres even a slight chance of it though we should be kicking the door down to sign him, theres not many players in the league that can score 20 goals a season, if we had him, Hazard and Costa or Lukaku we'd have potentially 60 goals alone between 3 players, not that theyed all get 20 goals each but it would give us an insane attacking line up, the best in England by far and one of the top 5 in world football.

They will sell him to whoever pays them the most, that club's board only cares about money.
All Sanchez needs to do is tell that joke of a club he wants to join Chelsea and they have no choice or they will lose a lot of money.

Yeah I don't think so. It changes nothing imo. I think depending on how the summer goes, we can still entice him. This match didn't change the fact that they'll be playing in the Europa League next year while we try to challenge for the CL and retain the league title. In fact, winning the FA Cup doubled their Europa League qualification, if you will. He's turning 29 next year. He'll waste all his prime years for a joke club with no real ambition if he stays at Arsenal.

If he leaves Arsenal for an English club and it's not Chelsea then we aren't really serious about retaining the title or winning the CL.

Anything between £250k-£300k. Nothing more than £300k. Considering he currently earns £140k and Arsenal are offering him £270k, I think it's a fair offer. It's right around what players of his quality earn these days.
