Di Marzio has also confirmed that Chelsea have an interest and should Conte become our manager that he will push for him.

All I can say is a midfield of Fabregas, Matic and Vidal would be absolutely phenomenal. We need to bring back a bit of an Essien character and a bit of strength and Vidal fits the bit. Can take a cracking penalty as well.

Only two downsides is that he has had a few injury concerns of late and his discipline is more on the Diego side than the Eden side. In my opinion, he is possibly the best box to box midfield in the world and a huge upgrade on Ramires.

Back to the days of having a powerhouse midfield Vidal Nainggolan and Fabregas, very in the mould of Ballack Essien Lampard. I'd be all for that. I wonder how likely it is though?

Doubt Carlo would see Vidal as surplus to requirements.

I think he will be a vital player in his Bayern side.

the trick is to attract them with no CL football. If they respect Conte enough they may come.  I'm thinking getting Nainggolan would be a stretch.  Vidal seems more likely.

He hasn't even been at Bayern for a full year yet, I highly doubt we'll be pushing for a move any time soon

I dont know about the underlined. The season he is having is so terrible that i am scared to start him and very very thankful that we have Mikel.

It's probably because Conte is Italian and managed Italian national team. I feel like now Chelsea will be linked with most of Italian players :)

Just to let you know, he is Chilean and not Italian. But i agree with the point that we'll be linked to a lot of Italians now. 

Highly doubt he'll be coming here unless his relationship with Conte was an extremely good one, and even then I'd doubt it because he hasn't even been at Bayern a full season

A box to box player like Vidal is very hard to come by, it would certainly be a good purchase. And he's definitely versatile enough to play in a number of positions in a number of different formations. He's a rare sort of player and would be an excellent acquisition.
