Pep didn't have to moan, because he DID get what he wanted. You can say the older players Conte wanted would have been sh*t, but players like Lukaku and Sandro are 100% Conte players. And they would have been wonderful to have. Instead we got Emerson and Giroud in January (while we should have bought Llorente in the summer). Conte said things he shouldn't have said. But who of you haven't mentioned the quality/depth of our squad is below our standard. And when he adresses the problem he gets stick from the fans ? And how would all of you feel when you've just won the competition in your first year, and yet you get 0 backing from the board.

I can't believe what I'm reading here. Bundesliga is probably one of the hardest and most competitive leagues in Europe. People online tend to look at Bayern, but besides them (due to the money) all other teams are close to each other. It's not because one team always wins the competition it is by defintion a weak one. If you take out the top 6 in the prem, would you call it a weak competition ?

But we got Giroud, Morata and maybe even Batsman. The only place I can see him playing is on the wings. It wouldn't be to bad to have a 4 star back up to Hazard. Because to be fair, Hazard plays matches where he is lazy and that might be due to the lack of competition on his position.

I still think he can do a midfielder role. Perhaps that B2B, but maybe he isn't good enough in the defending department for that. Although we just need a mixture of both. And when he is a B2B, he can shoot and pass as much as he likes. No more crosses, and besides Willian we need someone who can take a good free kick.

Man, there really is a part in me that's hoping the next manager will give the same amount of time to the youth players as Conte. Why are people so eager to promote youth players ? Barr Spurs no one really promotes youth playlers unless they need a last minute replacement or someone is injured. Conte introduced Ampadu, what do you guys want ? He plays a youth player in the second half while you have 7 people on the bench that more than likely cost a big transfer fee and are on a big wage. That doesn't make any sense. For fans it may be fun to see a youth player getting some time, but it's a managerial nightmare. The reason why Monaco introduced so many young players is because they don't spend on big names, another thing people on this forum can go on about. It's BS to think that Jardim WILL by definition impliment youth.
