I'm wandering, and maybe someone on here can clarify this for me. But why isn't there a massive raid for RB Leipzig players ? I mean, the Bundesliga is a lot harder than Ligue 1 but Monaco is losing players at an unprecedented speed.

From what I've seen RLC is bang average as well. And way to selfish, trying to do everything himself. I still think a Barkley move would not be a bad deal.

I for one still think he is way better than Lukaku, only Lukaku gets way more exposure and media attention. Not to mention the fact Martinez still has a thing for him, that's why Michy doesn't get the game time he deserves.

This is something that needs an explanation. How many non Spanish teams have competed well on all fronts during a season ? All fronts being the league, national cup and european cup. The last English club to win the treble was united in 1999, I'll be glad if we reach the CL quarter final and don't finish under the fifth place in the league. But thinking we will have a shot to actually compete on all fronts is a whole new level of daydreaming.

I've read that sentence way too much over the few weeks. How in Jose's name do we know who or what Conte needs ? I highly doubt anyone of us on here know the man personally or is in direct contact with the board. There is still a difference between what Conte needs, and what Conte needs according to the papers. This transfer window Conte already 'needed' Lukaku, Belotti, Morata, Sandro etc. If that would have been true, the man would be no more than a schizophrenic megalomaniac.

This is something I hadn't thought about. Luiz and Aguero really seem to hate each other. It doesn't seem likely the board would want troubles in the dressing room, even if it means they get a top striker.

Doesn't Carrasco have a buy out clause around 100mil ? He can play the Alonso role, but his games with Belgium show his lack of defensive skills.

I never thought the Conte rumour was plausible, he is a Juve man. Why would he Join one of their main rivals ? Besides Conte showing up for pre-season should have taken away any doubt about this situation.

I'm sick of the words world class. Then why not buy Messi, we can use world class RF. Drogba was no world class when we bought him, who ever heard of Mbappe before he started kicking in goals ? Yet those players are now considered world class. What are even the criteria for being considered world class ?
