This is harsh. He did well at left wing when he first joined. Also, Azpi had a long spell at right back under Benitez the same season. He was decent going forward (as a right back, not a wing back), overlapped and linked up reasonably well if memory serves. That was five years ago now... Blimey. I like Moses. It was good to see him unexpectedly make it as a regular last season after a few years of obscurity.

If that means Van Dijk is on his way, I'll take the half can of Monster. In fact, I'll take the half-can of monster anyway.

Matic fir 6 months was just incredible. Not sure how he just suddenly became a steady/occasionally very good player. He was consistently putting in 8/10 performances and dominating the midfield. I was crazy about the guy. Literally my favourite player he was. Still like him a lot. Would have preferred a move to someone else, but 29 years old, 40+ million is alright I guess. He's going to do well there if he plays. Will add balance to Pogba, Herrera midfield. Luckily they haven't yet bought any good wingers.

Hehe... I think o should rephrase that. Wingback is perfect for Baba. That's actually what I was thinking tbh. In any cases, isn't that kind of how it is. A very attacking full back who is familiar with defending and has a defender's instinct still from having played Played in the deeper position. Wingbacks...they would be very good attacking players and decent/passable defensively for the most part. Someone who's both excellent in both defensive and attacking output... Well that would be ideal but not easy to find... Their main role would be to support attack aggressively. But also to cover the defencive positions behind them more suitably than a winger. Isn't that the point of a wingback more or less? Aaaah whadduiknow anyways...! ? RICARDO PAREIRA btw... He's quite two footed as well. Always handy. Edit: It's Balotelli banging the goals in that clip .. Thought just occurred, maybe not a bad shout for third striker.

Conte doesn't seem to have the pulling power for some reason or other. Champions of England, champions league football, biggest club in the capital, big wages on offer... Yet still players are choosing other clubs... :|

RB Pareira - Was at Nice from Porto I think. Plays as right back and can play at left, too. Very attacking, quick and skillful. Not sure how good defensively. CB If Van Dijk becomes openly available, Conte should do everything to sign him. Can't let Liverpool just take him. LB No Idea. Would liked to have seen Baba there. He would be perfect for wingback but big injury so not much chance at all. Need someone, though. Not sure about Bertrand. Might not be good value with English factor. CM For a cheap option, William Vainqueur. Good stamina. Combative, aggressive style. Was on loan from Roma to Marseille last year. A bit of depth and probably won't mind being 4th choice. Dendoncker looks very good. Two footed, good size, seems quite good technically. Can see him having a presence in midfield. 25m would be a bargain. Btw, should have kept Ruben. FW I would have liked Mahrez. Someone who could link up with Hazard on a similar level. Can help break teams down, too. Ox. Could fill three positions. WB, AM, CM. Would be a good buy imo. ST Difficult to see. Liorente? 25m for a 32 year old? Seems like Conte wants a traditional target man type, someone physical, good in the air, etc.. Benteke, liorente fit that. Kruse doesn't. Andy Carroll? Hehehe... (Still, would be nice to see a few more English players in the team.) Unlikely that the striker will be a huge name or a big buy. Belotti would have been great. Complete unrealistic now, though. Morata, Belotti, Batshuayi would have been fantastic. :}
