Well like I said in the first page, I know it's an ad hominem and you can use that against many people who you don't agree with. Maybe it is convenient that we hold Collymore's past against him, but with the amount of utter tripe that he posts and slanders people with I think it's very fair to bring up who he is, the man himself. This guy is a total w**ker, he still has a very good lucrative career that not many other people would have if they did what he did, he gets abused by people online? Yeah, we've heard it all before, particularly from him. I know many people in the spotlight that get all sorts of abuse and they take it on the chin or just ignore it, Collymore uses it as a shield of self-pity then he goes out and viciously accuses people and organisations of horrendous claims over nothing. He's written quite a lot of articles about Sol, and he was also one of the expert lip readers over the Sterling incident. So that for me diminishes a lot of his credibility, who he is, what he's done and he still does. I don't take that pillock seriously, obviously, if he says the sky is blue that doesn't make him wrong, like someone said a broken clock is right twice a day, but what did he say that's strongly accurate about our dressing room exactly? I mean to say Hazard needs to leave Chelsea to rid the dressing room of its toxic behaviour on pure speculation is a farce, to say the least. It's popular to jump on Hazard's back right now, and Collymore has conveniently done that like the social justice self-righteous bandwagoner that he is. I think that's actually one of the main points here, I don't think Yorkley is dismissing Stan purely because of an ad hominem, he's dismissing Collymore because he's Collymore, the twat who is still a twat who likes to be the centre of attention and controversy.

Like I posted earlier, you had Steve Nicol on ESPN saying Sarri is having a disaster, he's turned Chelsea into a circus and he's out of his depth, what was all that based on? Because he went into the dressing room on his own after the match and excluded his backroom staff. That's it... Literally, these people are incentivised to make mountains out of molehills and Collymore is one of the worst ones for it. Don't forget Collymore has accused the F.A. of being racist many times, he even said Premier League Clubs are racist for not hiring Sol Campbell. Meanwhile, you get a legend like Frank Lampard, a well-respected pundit, calm head, leader who accepts his challenge in the Championship and makes a really good go of it. Collymore won't see that though, so why should I take his word seriously on anything else? He has no credibility whatsoever and that's not even including his dodgy personal life.

It's true Huddersfield are probably one of the weakest teams we've seen in the whole Premier League era but we've seen Alonso have great games against some of the best sides. I've finally watched the game and I thought he did well, I think Azpilcueta had the better game though. But that's just it isn't it? If you compared every fullback to Azpilicueta you're not going to be satisfied until we have someone like Marcelo or Alaba there. And it'll take some time to get fully adjusted to the back 4.

I don't agree with Collymore by the way, I just think the dressing room are used to getting there own way and as soon as it gets ugly it gets ugly, Collymore trying to centre this around Hazard I find very annoying and bold to say.

I love when he runs onto the ball and with it at the defence, that's always been an underrated ability of his, we used to see him do that before and it was impressive, like his goal against United in the 4-0 spanking. But it's mostly when we're dominating the game and sat in the oppositions half I'm concerned in, and there will be a lot of games like that under Sarri against the lower sides. We saw against Newcastle earlier in the season when they had a stupid low possession, Kante kept disrupting the rythem of the attack, we were too predictable, couldn't even trouble Newcastle's defence. I think this is the part where we'll see the limitations in Kante in attack, and it doesn't help when Kovacic isn't really contributed towards the attack either, that's mostly why we've been stagnant in the last couple of months or so.

Calm down lad, I've pretty much already said that. His excellent defensive work isn't utilised as well as it was last season or the season before that, simply because it can't be in this system. I don't think anybody is not understanding that, but I disagree that he's shown he's "extremely capable" of being part of the attack, I think he has ways to go before he can fully play sarri ball, he's not quick enough with the ball. But it's not just him having this problem, it's Hazard and Willian both who are at times often dwelling on the ball and not being fast enough, however, I could easily bet on them two being the more likely to adapt to fast paced attacking football than Kante.

In this current philosophy and set up there is no room for the Kante of last season, he has to adapt in order to play here and that's what Sarri is sticking with. I can completely understand it, and I've never once claimed otherwise, I just have my doubts about whether or not it will work because I don't think Kante has ever been that player. As much as people try to say Kante's best position was this and that I think he's always known for breaking up play and being a consistent ball-winner, preferably playing in counter-attacking sides. Right now that's not the case, he's not playing in that philosophy and he's not playing as a ball winning midfielder. That's pretty much because he can't, Sarri has come here to implement his philosophy. Kante's attacking aspects are far from his best aspects, that's not to say that he can't be of use though. I don't think it's helped with Kovacic and Barkley not excelling here, I like Kovacic but he's too pragmatic, he lacks the flair to contribute with the attacking line and final 3rd, he just doesn't take enough risks. Barkley is different but he's inconsistent, has great games then houlers. And as for Sarri Ball which involves moving the ball around quickly I think that's far from Kante's best attribute, Kante takes too much time on the ball and often slows the tempo of the attack. The Willian idea you've just gave could work, it seems to work for Pep when he plays central attackers in central midfield positions, could be worth a try?

But having said that the theory of Chelsea having a toxic dress room and player power is pretty plausible given our history. We keep going through managers and every single manager seems to leave in catastrophic fashion with a complete fallout with the board/players, I think it's pretty fair to estimate some players can get too comfortable here and can drop their performance levels entirely when they feel like it. Look at United, I know Mourinho's way of playing was a large factor but you look at how good Pogba has been since Mourinho has left and it's like he's a brand new player, I think it's fair to say he was half arsed when Mourinho was there.

It's not even so much defensive cover, I think it's attacking output that he's not efficient in. Someone brought up stats that he's been involved in the highest amount of goals in the team while Barkley is right next to him in that stat even though he's played much less games and this is a season where we've been crying out for goals. I don't think Kovacic and Kante have offered enough in attack and I've often felt were a player short in the attack, but with a striker now we might see a difference fingers crossed. I'm reserving my judgement still, a lot can change from now until the end of the season.

But can he do both efficiently? I would say this new position has nullified his defensive qualities, that's fair enough to say. I would say it's his weakest season at Chelsea so far but who's to say it's not a worthy investment for the future. If Kante goes on to adapt and develop his game it could definitely be worthwhile.

And this is exactly the problem at this club! Managers come here and get 0 leniencies. There's a reason why we are one of the most bipolar football clubs in the Premier League, what sort of team wins the league then finishes outside the top 4 in 4 consecutive seasons?

You think that's bad you should watch ESPN, the likes of Craig Burley and Stevie Nicol who pretend to know what managing a big side is and that there's a crises within Chelsea and Sarri is in the wrong. They were all shouting off "You don't ever leave your staff aside or outside the dressing room! Ever!" Says the panel of people who haven't managed any football clubs. Now that Mourinho is gone they're looking for a new scapegoat, it'll now be Sarri of course... Quite funny when the only person who's making sense on the full panel is the yank.

I think we really knocked City out of their stride with our surprising win against them last time, I'm sure they'll take us seriously even given our form (we weren't exactly in great form last time). I just hope even if we lose we give them a good game, show signs of progress, please do not get steamrolled.

There's a bit of a toxic debate when it comes to Emerson v Alonso. There are some people on here who just don't rate Alonso and some of them are just tired of him. I think Alonso is a fantastic wing back, I think he has defensive limitations but so do the likes of Marcelo, Alba and Alaba. I think at times a lot of it gets exaggerated because you've got Azpilicueta on the right who can man mark and track like Ashley Cole, he sticks on attackers like glue, but he doesn't have the offensive output like Alonso has but I would say his crossing is better. I can understand both sides, I like both players, I think Emerson should play more and we shouldn't be too harsh with him for one bad game, especially a game where everyone else was just as bad in. But having said that, some of the people who are giving Emerson the benefit of the doubt and saying "It's just one game" absolutely slaughter Alonso if he has a bad game or even just an average game at that. This is sort of the toxic debate I'm talking about. I think we've got two good left backs, and Emerson not playing is just as big of a deal as all the other squad players who can't get a sniff at first team football, the lack of rotation all season has been a problem. Alonso's performances have been slipping since around November I think, but I've heard he played really well against Huddersfield (I didn't manage to watch the match) so I think that bolsters the argument that rotation is important. Playing the same players all the time isn't going to work, I respect Sarri's gameplan and stubbornness, but I think he's wrong to not rotate as much. Then again what do I know?

We'll have to wait and see, I'm not going to get carried away just yet, he is 31 and this is a new league for him. I hope he'll be a great signing but as of yet we still don't know. But I'm very confident he will at least do the job.
