Giroud scores though, give him chances and he'll score. For me Giroud should be starting most of our games.

I thought he was terrible tbh, ruined every piece of build up, scuffed his shot, just a liability at the moment when he plays.

Brit this could be said for every player except Giroud, Mount and Thiago Silva. Actually even Mount was average for many games in December in my opinion. Every player since Leeds was playing to about 1/4 of their ability, they just stopped playing, disgusting to see and it can't be forgotten, who the f**k knows how or why it happened but it did.

Last game against Wolves I wasn't too fussed even though I did see big improvements. This game, I'm very happy with him, constantly releasing Mount and CHO every single time. That's exactly what we need more of. Burnley came to play, credit to them, some teams don't though, and it's at those moments Kovacic needs to take more risks. Even though every shot he took was sh*t, he needs to take them. It makes defenders think twice, if they know you aren't going to shoot then they'll mark their man instead, making it harder to place the pass. Credit where it's due, that looked like Kovacic of last season that.

He's got Ivanovic vibes about him when it comes to getting goals. Ivanovic used to score about 5/6 goals a season as a fullback it was mad, That control and volley was sublime, he's got that stuff in his locker. That chance Chilwell had against Wolves, Alonso would've put that away.

His best game for a long time tbf to him.

Too early to really make a comment for me, I want to see how we do in the big games though for sure. That's something we drastically need to improve on.

He's making a lot of runs but you have to do more than that. Looks atrocious still at the moment.

For us it is this season, we made mince meat out of these teams earlier in the season but as soon as we started to play teams in the top 10 it all went downhill. Even the Spurs game when we smashed them, we still didn't win it, lacked that cutting edge.

Have to start winning the big games, something we've failed to do all season. I won't be happy if we come away with anything but a win.

f**king hell if we lost 5-0 I think it would still be an improvement from that last game, one of the most boring games I've ever watched.

I'm happy with how much Kovacic is taking risks this time though, even if he gives the ball away, we need more of that.

I said the same about Morata, and Morata at least was scoring goals on a consistent basis before he went into that endless slump of bad form.

People keep saying we need to accomodate him more but for what? So he can run into space? Is that all he has to offer? Even relegation teams have players like that. He provides nothing in the build up play and his striking is absolutely atrocious.

Tammy at least scores when he gets a chance, he's just rubbish outside of that.

Why does Werner have to be so sh*t? All he offers are his bursting runs every now and then and hardly anything comes from them. When was the last time he even scored in the PL?

In fairness, we're at least creating chances now, not making excuses for the average performance mind. But it's about time we started to create chances again.

Oh werner... Imagine what position we would be in if he scored even 1/2 of his chances.
