  1. Very little people had high hopes for Pulisic and nobody expected him to be that good in his first season. Him being a Hazard replacement was laughed at. So to Lampards credit, he handled the Pulisic situation very well. What he did in his first season can't be understated, a great job. But the season after not so much, it's all good having a good run, but December pretty much undone all of that and big questions were raised over our diabolical form/performances. But regardless, we have to put the Lampard situation behind us for the time being, too many scars. I think now is not the time to be giving what ifs and whatabouts, have to hope and pray Tuchel finds a way to rectify this season. The pressure is on.
  2. Last game I did see a marginal improvement but it's still not enough, I noticed Chilwell ignored him plenty of times on the left flank when he ran into space. About 3 times I saw it. I can sort of see why he's getting ignored, because he's very wasteful with the ball, but this isn't the right way to go about things. Kai seriously needs to come into his own more, I would love to know what his pass completion is, because he must give the ball away a good 60% of the time. It's very frustrating...
  3. I've gave him some leeway with it being his first game and he's tinkering around. But if he does start playing out of form players or players out of position I won't be happy and will voice my view on it. But to his credit, CHO played well in that position I thought, even better when he was on the left side, Pulisic on the right though? Not a fan.
  4. I've apologised to Coco in DM's. I now see that he didn't misrepresent me, I compelely misread the situation. I just want to clarify to everyone reading this, I genuinely thought this story was about some tweets on Twitter, I didn't actually know Reece James publicly shared these messages himself that he got. In no way shape or form do I blame him or think this was his fault, if I had known that I would never have even gave him an inkling of blame. Obviously this looks bad on me because I'm pretty Conservative with my political views, I just hope those who disagree with me can at least give me the benefit of the doubt on this one. I would never try to trivialise Reece James getting racial abuse, my take was purely and only aimed at the media that have ill intentions on any matter, good or bad. Glad to see this was all resolved anyway.
  5. I think we've all got the wrong end of the stick, that's all. I didn't actually know what happened, I just assumed, which is wrong but at the same time it was for the same reason coco didn't want anything posted on here, because reading racist garbage isn't nice. I remember reading the abuse Rebecca Vardy got in that same instance and I felt sick to my stomach, so stuff like this I usually avoid because I know the power anonymous users have on Twitter and Facebook, and most likely they'll be using VPN's and whatever else.
  6. If he's in the UK he can get found, if he's outside of it, it's difficult. I remember when Jamie Vardy posted those messages his wife received, I won't say what they were becuase they were too sick to talk about. But it turned out it was some kid in India and nothing could be done about it, if he was in the UK he would've gotten f**ked even at that age.
  7. Absolutely, and again, I didn't once blame James for anything. If Argo truly meant that, then I completely disagree with him. Like I said, I thought he was talking about the media. I made a similar point last time about Abraham when he was getting racist abuse because he missed a penalty. Not his fault, it's the fault of anonymous trolls who get to say what they want with no repercussions.
  8. I assumed he was talking about the media, which is a point I agreed with. I didn't know until just now it was James who released them himself, I thought it was again trolls on Twitter judging by the responses on here saying it's trolls with fake avatars on twitter.
  9. Oh right my apologies, I thought it was a similar situation, a few tweets on twitter.
  10. I see what you're saying. For example, I doubt James would've even known about this if a spotlight wasn't already on it. We live in a world where on social media you get terrorist plotting attacks, death threats, racial abuse, homophobic abuse, all horrible things happen daily. That's the information age. I can't help but feel that sometimes this feeds the trolls, like the Abraham incident last year in the Super Cup final when he missed that penalty, a few trolls online with football avatars gave him racist abuse. Tammy would never have known about it if it wasn't plastered all over the newspapers. The media love to stir the pot. This is in no way shape or form me saying "sweet it under the rug" but you have to look at the context and the way the media operates.
  11. They're not Brits if you ask me, and don't give them any respect Coco!
  12. It's what Americans call a till
  13. Racism makes no sense whatsoever, but what also doesn't make sense is why Reece James is being attacked? He's been one of our best players, was gutted Lampard got sacked, what the f**k has he done wrong? He wasn't even in part of those bull sh*t rumours either...
  14. I don't know what it is with Tammy, sometimes I think the guy is quality and underrated, then sometimes I can't help but think he's average. I think it's the slipping over all the time part that annoys me. To his credit though, he scores goals, and doing that at Chelsea as a striker is a very hard thing to do.
  15. TWO, believe it or not. TWO he has, somehow.
  16. That's not what he told me in direct messenger
  17. While you're here, I want to know why you and @yorkleyblue don't argue anymore, that was my main source of entertainment on this forum, anything I can do to stir the pot?
  18. It was Matic and Cahill who were in need of an upgrade at the time. Alonso for me was actually playing well, didn't he win LB of the year then?
  19. Thought he was absolutely ace btw, as he usually is. It's very rare this guy makes mistakes, even when he goes in for 50/50's there like 90/10's by the time he's done with them, always wins them. I noticed it a few times in the Wolves game, he knows when to make the tackle and when not to, love him, I hope he sticks around for longer.
  20. Get a PC you baby
  21. After that notorious Burnley game with Barnes and Matic, he was never the same again. Matic was absolutely quality for the first year and a half, after that not so much. Even under Conte he was the weak-link in the side, after that F.A. Cup final against Arsenal I was glad to see the back of him, and he's done nothing at United. The only issue is that we didn't actually replace or upgrade him. Would I have kept him knowing that we were going to end up with Bakayoko? Absolutely. I just trusted this club to actually get a good replacement, or even A replacement. Someone mentioned the other day that we have a group of midfielders who are a jack of all trades and a master of none, forgot who it was but it was a perfect description for them. Edit: About that jack of all trades quote, I just checked and it was you LOL, sorry.
  22. Yeah it's called being honest and objective, you should try it sometime, you might realise your views on football are 30-40 years behind. But I'll leave you too it, no doubt you'll keep mentioning my name around the forum like you usually do, in your head rent free.
  23. Yeah but at least Alonso doesn't have a unibrow.
  24. I'll start an Eric Dier thread for you in the Transfer Rumours section if you want?
