For myself more than anything that makes me question Potter is the peculiar decisions that he makes like playing sterling at wb in the past, or last night playing Mudryk when he was ill apparently, and Reece James who looked well off from match fitness and just came back from injury! This tells me he hasn't got a concrete system in place or the mentality to be successful in one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Two weeks of training with Potter has turned Mudryk to Pulisic!

I think he has being very good so far. Problem is that he is playing in the middle alone because both mount and gallagher are playing very forward leaving Enzo alone in the middle.

Kepa with a great save. He gets alot of unwarranted grief in my opinion.

I wouldnt have played Reece James just yet with all the injuries he has had recently. Chalobah did well at rb.

I would be very disappointed if he came back here. Not sure who mentioned it in this forum that we made a similar mistake in the past when we were building a young attacking team yet we get Jose as a manager. At last am excited by the profile of our new signings, young with huge potential and getting Mourinho back will destroy this momentum. I want to give Potter a chance for now, if he can't do it than my preference would be Zidane.

The previous post and this one are top quality. I have exactly the same feelings, these young man are chelsea and we should support them if they want to be here and believe they can contribute. There will come a time that perhaps its best for both parties they leave but i will still continue to support them i,e Abraham and Tomori are an example of that. i want them to do well and always check to see how they are performing.

I watched a few YouTube highlights of him and he looks a real talent. Very excited to see him play. With Mudryk and him at least we don't have to think of Leao anymore. With Noni we could potentially develop our own Leao for a fraction of the cost.

They are all young too 23 and under. Love to see it, it reminds me when we bought de bruyne, salah, hazard, Lukaku etc at a similar age.

Cucurella seems always very clumsy to me, like he is rushing in everything he does. Maybe its the hair i dont know lol.

Hall has good energy. In my opinion Mount has being poor so far.

Personally if we got a decent offer i would sell. He reminds me of robbie savage and not just the looks, he can be a pain for the opposition but a limited player. Though i would definitely sell a few others before him if that was an option.

I meant the Champions league itself. With the new players signed plus hopefully james and chillwell coming back can give us a great boost not to mention that for some reason we seem to do better on cup competitions than the league in recent years. I am trying to be optimistic as there is no point in mentioning our weaknesses anymore. Come end of the season i think the owners need to reflect if Potter is truly the man to take us forward.

Rightly so. My guess would be, Jorginho, azpi, Hudson Odoi, ziyech, Pulisic, aubemyang, loftus cheek, and i wouldn't mind if we sold Cucurella too.

Delighted for us and Potter with the win. I took alot of positives from that game and i feel it could be our turning point, wouldn't be surprised if we end up fighting for CL. Positives from Potter: - Hall playing for the second game in a row instead of Cucurella, this shows character and cojones from Potter. Tells other players that if they dont perform he is not afraid to play youngsters. - Chalobah playing at Rb instead of Azpi. I have being calling on Chalobah at rb for a long time and i thought he was decent not spectacular. - playing a proper 4.3.3 system, although we were boring at times we were much more compact and allowed players like gallagher to play in their natural rhythm. - finally, i noticed from the bench a togetherness as if we must do better. Also, during this time Potter never through the players under the bus, imagine if it was Mourinho, Sarri or Conte! I think thats a good thing because hopefully will be fighting for him to repay back the trust. Overall cant wait for the Liverpool game now where they are doing terribly too and can be our proper turning point.

You see our players are not all bad but we are playing terribly. Best analogy I can give of our situation is this, if you have a Ferrari but a poor driver it will become a Fiat punto.
