FA Cup Forth Round Draw - Today @ 1.30pm
Who would you like us to be drawn against? For me purely on a selfish level I'd like us to get Nottingham Forest or Derby away so I can go to the game, other than that any team at home will do. Come on the FA Cup and come on Chelsea!!

Chelsea transfers
Welcome to the forum. I'd really like to see us sign Micah Richards and a striker (but all the good ones are Euro Cup tied).

Team for Macclesfield ....
I haven't seen him play today but the phrase that springs to mind right now regarding Sheva is: He couldn't score in a brothel. Fingers crossed he scores against Wycombe.

Music cover versions - where the cover improves the original
Brilliant track. I'm going to suggest: Muse - Feeling Good.

What's our problem?
But diamonds are a girls best friend. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Villa
No need to apologise for the language. I agree with your post. We can't even blame the surface for our lacklustre passing tonight as it looked immaculate. To me it looks like we've forgotten the style of play that won us the last two titles. We're playing at the moment with a lack of conviction and bite. We should be bullying teams like Fulham, Wigan, Reading and Villa into submission but we're not. Lampard tonight seemed devoid of any creative thinking.

Villa
Ballack couldnt have played, he was suspended. Oh yeah he was wasn't he, duh! Sorry I've had a few to drink and forgot about his suspension.

We are lucky to be still 6 points behind I think. If we can finally find some Championship form it is definitely possible but we wil not win the league on current forwithout a signficant improvement. That's the problem we are showing Championship form (as in Coca Cola Championship) not Premiership. Today we were average against a team that personifies averageness. A very disappointing result to say the least. I was expecting a reaction to the recent run of results and I got f*ck all. Personally I reckon Ballack should have played tonight instead of Maka, as in the first half he would have had acres of space and time on the ball, and I don't see the point in playing Maka in a game like tonights when Essien can do his job and bring more to the party attacking wise. Hindsights a bitch though. Bring on Macclesfield. Come on Chelsea.

Top Games, PC or Console
Here's my Top 10 in not particular order: 1.. Half Life 2 (PC) - Just a really immersive game I just didn't want to stop playing it until I'd completed it. 2.. Pro Evo 5 (PS2) - Any game that you still consistantly pick up and play 1 year after you've bought it is a testament to it's quality. I got Pro Evo 6 on Friday and I believe the same thing will happen. 3.. Football Manager 2006 (Mac) - Pure addiction gaming, like Pringles or smack. I got FM2007 on Friday I haven't yet played it though. 4.. Far Cry (PC) - Fantastic visuals and semi non-linear gameplay made this a first person shooter (FPS) of real style, it goes downhill though when you start fighting the freaks as they're just to damn hard to kill. The online deathmatch games were awesome as well. 5.. GTA Vice City (PC) - Immense game with endless replay-ability, I had San Andreas but couldn't get used to the controls. Why did they change them?? 6.. Deus Ex (PC) - An intelligent FPS/RPG, again I couldn't stop playing until I'd completed it. 7.. Max Payne 2 (PC) - Slow-mo shooting and cracking visuals. Just like being in The Matrix. 8.. Perfect Dark (N64) - Quite simply a cracking FPS. 9.. Goldeneye (N64) - A FPS of the highest order. 10.. No One Lives Forever 2 (PC) - A classic FPS with a sense of humour!!

Who's in your Supergroup?
Following on from the talk about which bands you wish you'd seen live, I got to thinking about this, if you could create a supergroup who would you have in it? Here's mine: Drums John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) Bass Chris Wolstenholme (Muse) Guiter Slash (Guns N Roses) Vocals Freddie Mercury (Queen)

Brian May's Hair...
Just had a discussion at work and somebody said that "Axe God" Brian May's hair is in fact a wig!! I don't believe it myself and I've 'Googled' it and nothing came up in the way of proof. So I was wondering what the general consensus is on here.

Lampard: a kneejerk reaction...
Well Ballack took the next penalty and what a penalty it was. Talk about hitting the ball with confidence, it almost uprooted the goal posts.

Lampard: a kneejerk reaction...
How long should we give it though regarding his inconsistancy, hypothetically speaking, say we get a penalty on Tuesday against Bremen, Frank steps up and misses and then on Sunday against Liverfool we get another one at 0-0 with 5 minutes to go, would you want Lamps to take it then?? I don't think I would. I agree entirely on the sharing out of the freekick duties, for one thing it keeps the opposition guessing and that can only be a good thing.

FIFA or Winning Eleven?
no worries matey, glad to be of assistance.

Lampard: a kneejerk reaction...
Lampard has now missed three of his last four penalties for Chelsea and England, is it time for a change? (N.B. This is for Chelsea only). I went for Ballack, as the Germans hardly ever miss a penalty.

FIFA or Winning Eleven?

Mascherano and Tevez
No, I think the fact that it's now been reported that both Tevez & Mascherano were offered to ourselves, The Arse and Manure kind of puts paid to any theory regarding Roman being behind the move. Whether we make a move for one of them in the future, I don't think anyone knows, it all depends on how they do I suppose. Personally right now I'd prefer to see Tevez join us rather than Mascherano.

How many transfer do you get? I've looked on the site and can't seem to find any information about it.

Who willl pull a Joe Cole this season?
As it's not a World Cup/Euro Cup year I'm backing Robben to turn it on, I also reckon Kalou will be up for it as well and will suprise/scare a fair few defences. Blimey I'm looking forward to this season, I can't wait for it to start.

The pick of last season
Joey Cole for me, because it was just so sublime and showed how much class the lad has got. plus it was against Manure which made it all the more sweeter.
