  1. I’m in the hate camp. Enjoyed watching that Barca team for a while and then they just started to bore the life out of me, as City do today. Watching this Arse pool match and it’s much more entertaining than any city games even though city definitely have more talent in the squad but it’s that system. Agree with hating teams insisting playing out from the back all the time when they are not capable. As far as Havertz today, I think he has shown more grit for Arsenal than he did for us this past couple of years. But he’s the same Havertz, very good mixed with very bad. Saka has been very poor. Great seeing Martinelli making a complete tit of TAA twice in quick succession. Dislike both teams but possibly Arsenal a bit less than the scum so going for draw, draw replay and Arsenal win 1-0 in pen shootout.
  2. Awful first half today, bit of same old, same old but the second half was like a breath of fresh air. We seemed more willing to attack and commit players forward. I don’t know if Broja is the answer but after his goal everything improved. His movement into spaces and his touch and his battling. Shortly after his goal he went in on a challenge and put the defender on his arse. It was a foul but at least he made his presence felt which has not been happening. He should get a wee run of games now and can maybe build some confidence. I would like to see a proper RB playing RB and a proper LB playing LB. It would add more width in attack. This isn’t having a go at young Gilchrist who done very well but apparently is more used to CB. He could develop into a very useful RB. I like Gusto at FB but he adds a lot more as RB. Poch just play Madueke and alternate the left wing if he needs too between Sterling and Mudryk.
  3. Not so sure. He’s willing to attack defenders, puts them on the back foot, gets crosses into dangerous areas, not afraid to have a shot. Sorry Loz, can’t have that sh*t, this is modern Chels.
  4. Can’t see where our goals are going to come from. Maybe we will rely on Palmer again. Thought it was a good effort with his chance, keeper done well to close down quickly.
  5. Front 3 have been pure sh*t, not totally their fault as the service has been crap but they need to show themselves better. Hope Sterling soon fecks off to Saudi or somewhere.
  6. Great first touch by Palmer, unlucky with the finish.
  7. I thought he had better than one or two good moments today but certainly not faultless.😂 He can be a pain in the arse with his antics on the field but he does try and doesn’t hide. There maybe is a player in there and I won’t be writing him off yet until be has at least a full season in the premiership. Brojan was awful today again but might be a better option for leading the line if he can get his sh*t together but I’m not that hopeful.
  8. Definitely pre Poch, started with Sarriball. Really hoped that Poch could have changed things up and we’d become less boring and more competitive.
  9. I’m not just referring to last nights match though, this is time and time again. Were are not attacking enough and when in possession we are content to just knock it about the back which it just what sitting back teams want. As for last nights match CP, for a lot of the match, were playing a high line and pressing our midfield and defenders. How many times do we have good crossing positions only to check back, loose the opportunity and pass back to our CBs and even ends up with the keeper and the whole boring process starts again. Check the stats of any other ‘top team’ and they have at least twice the number of attempts with the sort of possession we are having.
  10. Some people are referring to creating lots of chances and blaming forwards for not scoring. Problem is deeper than that. 3 shots in the second half, 1 on target and that was the pen which was a rash challenge when we had lost the ball. That’s not near good enough for the amount of ball we are having. Boring, tedious sh*t is what Poch is producing.
  11. Good to get a win, but not seeing many green shoots of recovery. Is this really the style of play that Poch is setting us up to play. We are still f**king about with no intensity. Almost had twice the possession and yet we had 9 shots on target compared to their 13 with 4 on target against 5. We won when we were presented with a pen by a rash challenge when we lost the ball. How have we managed to sign such a clumsy pair of centre backs who can’t really control and pass when we want to play out from the back. 🙈
  12. Do you remember the time we sweep these sides aside. Just bullied them out of the road.
  13. 20 mins in and no attempts this second half. f**king shocking Poch.
  14. Over 8 mins played in second half, loads in possession, Haven’t got near the Palace box. I’m f**king pissed off with this sh*t.
  15. We can buy all the forwards we want, no striker can live with the sh*t we are serving up match after match. Apparently if you don’t shoot you don’t score. We have all this possession but don’t attack the opposition goal. This shows we’ve had twice as much possession but the shots are near the same. This sh*t is on Poch, all this lazy f**king about the back and midfield. Check any other top team with this possession and they have 2/3 times more shots. BTW Colewill is not or never will be a full back.
  16. Berated Sterling on the match thread so don’t want to go over about the things which people have already covered. One of his most annoying plays for me today was the shot he had blocked. Don’t know who passed to him and not going to watch it back but this is typical of his bad decision making. If he’d taken it first time he had the keeper to beat from about 6 yds. He took a pointless touch and 3 defenders came sliding across to block. Very limited footballer and certainly no Hazard. Oh for another prime Hazard who would play with a smile on his face and didn’t crumble at the slightest touch.
  17. Where do you start with this sh*t performance. I’ll keep it brief and not go though everyone’s performance. Goalkeeper, looks ok but like a rabbit in headlights on corners. Other teams will notice his indecision and will target us and him big style. Theres a reason Silva still plays for us at 39, it’s because we are sh*t. He needs to go, he controls our slow slow tempo and his style of play encourages this lax play around him. Unfortunately our other defenders are fairly sh*te at control and move and end up getting caught for 2/3 big chances every match. Gallagher does something’s good but a lot of bad. How many times did he loose the ball in tight situations today. If he doesn’t want to sign he can go next month, we will get over it. Also he never seems to learn when running back with players. Every time it’s the same attempt of tackle from the side which he misjudges and gives a free in a dangerous position plus a booking. Jackson looked more sh*t that Brojan today because he got more opportunities to be sh*te. I suppose maybe he got into better positions. One thing sure is that neither will get into a position to attack a low driven cross into the box. Both clueless, neither would look dangerous with a shotgun up the jumper. Sterling is not a leader on the pitch, not what you’d expect from his standing and he goes down far too easily. I’m sick of it, refs are sick of it and that’s why he got booked, should have been earlier for diving or instigating the foul on him. Inside about 5 minutes today we had three bookings. 2 for kicking the ball away and another for backchat. Then Sterling gets booked so we miss him and palmer next match. Needless bookings which have to stop. I don’t know how many bookings we had today but not once can I remember a Wolves player rolling about in agony or getting taken off because of injury caused by a bookable tackle by us. Our play comes straight from the training ground, no intensity, tippy tappy as it doesn’t matter if we loose the ball. When you get site of goal inside the box put your f**king boot though it, don’t keeping checking inside as if your playing against the kids in the back garden. Finally anytime a half decent tackle comes it, fair or otherwise, if you’re a wee bit hurt don’t let on. Get up, stick your chest out, smile at the opponent, call him a knob and you’ll do him the next time you get a chance. Our players are f**king chocolate men with no fight. Defenders must love playing against these whimsy, whiney little bitches. Merry Christmas everyone. 🎄🎅🏼
  18. That was awful, maybe one of the most disappointing displays I’ve watched from a Chelsea team. They play out there like it’s a training match, no passion. Maybe a bit shown by Palmer. why are we insisting on playing out from the back, we get caught time and time again. Our two £100m hero’s in the middle cannot pass the f**king ball. Then we get a chance to go forward and we will turn and play it back to our centre half’s who in turn plays it to the keeper who in turn kicks it to the opposition or out. There are a lot of Silva fans on here and I know he was a great player but he is dictating our tempo and it is f**king dreadful and I’d like to see him dropped to the bench. Jackson is pure sh*te, he tries but it’s not there. I don’t care if he has scored a few but most of those were against 9 men who were attacking us. Nkunku is not going to make a difference to this team, I’m hoping Lavia can add some grit and determination and challenge those waste of space in our midfield. Sterling needs a good team to shine, unfortunately he has come to the wrong place. Finally what the f**k is James on!!! Strolls about there like gods gift, f**king shake yourself man, you have the skill set to be great. The most sad thing for me is that because of me my grandson supports Chelsea. I have seen great days but I don’t know if they can return. I hate to see him hurt!!! Sean Dyche in the stands must be rubbing his hands and can’t wait to get at is on Saturday. He’ll have his team pumped up to devour these passionless shower of prima Donna’s.
  19. So sad to hear this about @coco. A true stalwart of TSE and CSR. A very level headed and reasonable guy who will be badly missed. Condolences to all his family and friends.
  20. Brilliant cover @Nibs. Made me listen to some Kinks but I’ll post some Wilko in action.
