Just spotted that Messi earns £70 million a year just in wages! Does anyone know who the number one earner is for us? I had a quick google and couldn't find a clear answer does anyone know? Also off the back of this how did wages get so high? I remember my grandad saying when he used to play for luton town back in the 1920's he used to get a packet of fags and a couple of bob and that was it for wages

He's developed a lot over the last two seasons but I don't think he's ready to make the step up to a PL team with Champions League ambitions. Maybe a midtable club in England but I reckon Chelsea should prioritise other transfer targets.

It will be a shame when Giroud leaves as he still has plenty to offer. It's good for the youngsters to have a seasoned international to learn from, even if he isn't starting every game. What I like best about him is how unselfish he is in the final third. He'll always look for a teammate isn't the box if they're in a better goalscoring position.

Hi guys, I've just moved to the UK from the US and I'm planning to visit London soon to catch a Chelsea game. My old man was a Londoner and a massive Chelsea fan. He lived only a stone's throw from the ground before he emigrated, so the Blues have always been my team. Really looking forward to seeing them for the first time. Can anyone suggest a good place to sit for someone who's never been to the Bridge before?
