It’s pretty everyone in soccer who is wondering why Lampard is wasting Pullsic on the right. Mount provides very little threat out wide as he doesn’t have the ability to beat an opponent off the dribble.

Lampard is wasting Pulisic on the right. Most everyone can see it. Why not switch him and Mount who is not nearly as much an offensive threat? Playing Pulisic on the left will open things up for Werner and Havertz. Chelsea needs to play wide and use their speed to their advantage. Otherwise teams are going to pack the box like Sevilla did and it is going to be a long season.

I don’t understand why Lampard continues to play Pulisic on the right. Anyone can see he is far superior to Mount and this team needs to play wider to take advantage of the speed for Werner, Pulisic and Havertz. There were very few offensive chances as Sevilla controlled the ball.

Frustrating game to say the least. 1. Pulisic should have been on the left side. He is far superior to Mount who contributed very little yesterday. 2. The formation seemed to be a big part of the problem. Chillwell was caught up field quite a bit and there was very little defensive support in the middle of the field. 3. The Havertz miss on the header fed by Ziyech hurt. He was unmarked and should have buried that header. 4. The panic fouls in the defensive end can’t happen. James trucking a player who was no threat led to the tying goal. Why? 5. Kepa made two great saves. However, the sequence between him and Zoums was cringeworthy.

Pulisic, Werner, and Ziyech are the three best Chelsea offensive players in terms of scoring, passing, ability to beat a defender off the dribble, etc. They should all be starting the next game. Pulisic and Ziyech, along with Havertz will open things up for Werner who has gotten off to a slow start due to playing out of position combined with poor passing to take advantage of his speed. Ziyech's passing on set pieces will improve scoring chances for Havertz, Pulisic, and Werner.
