So tired of hearing media and so-called Chelsea fans (not here) blame Cahill for the second goal. Alexi Lawless commented that Cahill should be out there second guessing his teammates that they are about to f*up. Roberto Martinez acquiesced. Other Chelsea fans think Cahill should have been marking Suarez while he was well offside. There's many things wrong with these analyses. 1) Cahill was not at fault. England was playing a high line. If he started marking Suarez behind the defensive line set there would be no line or it'd open up the break for everyone else. 2) If you're second guessing anyone on your team that they are about to f*up they shouldn't be out on the pitch in the first place. 3) If everyone is second guessing everyone else your team is never going to win because no one trusts anyone.

Marca is blaming Carlo for chasing away Ozil now... Carlo is a great manager, but there's no manager alive that can save Real Madrid. It's a club run by a circle-jerk of the fans, media, and self-indulgent players. Real Madrid will always be dangerous because Spain will always buy Real Madrid the best players and give them shady tax breaks, but they'll never be anywhere near what they should be with amount of money they invest because the entire atmosphere is toxic and getting more pungent by the day.

Losing 3 out of the first 6 is horrible for United...but it's not like they aren't notoriously slow starters. They have turned things around so many times in the past after slow starts, it won't surprise me if they do it again with Moyes at the helm.

They give us the best manager in the game. They sell Ozil and Higuin. They pay Tottenham a yacht-load of money for Bale. Net result so far: Chelsea's back in good hands. Arsenal can't stop winning at the moment and are top of the table. Tottenham are title contenders and champions of this year's transfer market. Napoli is top of the table in Serie A. ... Real Madrid are in 3rd in La Liga, already 5 points behind 1st and 2nd, and just lost their derby...at home.

It's an ugly part of Chelsea and all other football clubs, but it's worth watching if you haven't seen/never saw it before. I was kind of surprised that Donal MacIntyre got a Chelsea tattoo for cover...and that he never removed it. Thing that bugs me is Real Madrid is trying to milk millions of dollars off of Chelsea through his existing contract clauses. Saying no one can hire him unless they pay Real Madrid 17m pounds for the buyout clause. They are going to fire him anyway (in which case, THEY would paying a fee for early termination). They shouldn't get a dime from us. Unless the clause says no one can hire for a year or so even after he is fired, we should just wait them out imo. He wants to get rid of legends still playing at a high level because his vagina got all sandy when the players went against his puppet manager (who was not playing his best players nor winning games) and proved his way wrong by winning the Champion's League when the puppet left. He's holding on to Torres because of pride and because he invested a lot of money in him, but it was a dumb buy--just like Sheva. It's obvious Torres is past it and doesn't belong as a fixed starter on a team of Chelsea's stature. You think RM, Barca, Arse, Manu, City, Bayern, etc would sign Torres? Heck no. I tell you one person many of them would sign though...Lampard. Next stop for Torres is the glue factory or a second tier club. He needs to apply his cold, Stalinesque attitude towards Torres and get rid of him. Our club and our fans need to stand up to him over not resigning Lampard and screwing over the club for his ego. Owners in America would be torn a new one if they did what Roman gets away with doing. In England, I guess people just sit on their hands and watch so long as the bills get paid. C.Ronaldo is Salieri (Amadeus movie version) to Mozart. Great player, but he's also the one everyone wants to hate whereas golden boy, Messi, can do no wrong. CR is one of the greatest players of all time, but he's playing at the same time where the best of all time (attacking wise) is playing. Many people want to find fault with CR saying he's selfish, doesn't play defense, flops, etc, but the truth is if it weren't for Messi a lot of this criticism would be minimized and he'd be the one being compared to all the great players of the past.

So like with all the best players playing in Spain, Real Madrid and Barcelona must have gone undefeated save when they played each other...and with Barca having the most world's best players, best coach and the player who won the Balloon D'Or again they must have won all of the Spanish trophies. Which countries had teams in the Champions League finals again? I forget... Anyway, no goalkeeper did what Cech did last season in the Champions League...ever...Based on merit, Cech was easily the best goalkeeper in the world last year, maybe of all time.

Players win games, coaches lose games, refs ruin them. We didn't win. Refs were fine. Rafa lost this game. If one player was playing bad, you could blame that particular player, but if they are ALL playing bad...ie...it's probably not the players that's the problem. It's very difficult for the entire squad at this level of football to all be playing awful at the same time. It's the coach or something beyond the players.

I personally think taking off the shirt in celebration of individual goals is bad sportsmanship with very few exceptions. This is not one of those situations that's an exception. He does it on every goal. I mean if it were a one time thing, okay. But it isn't. It's every goal, every game he scores in. If this was the only way to get out a message to help society there could be an exception. If this was a an effective way and broad in scope way of getting out the message then maybe. I would venture to guess that the vast majority of the people that see him doing it have no idea what it's about and see it as excessive celebration. Not only that, what you guys seem to be saying is it is okay to act bad if you think the person is doing it for a good cause. What's going to happen if you don't think it's a good cause? What happens if say a player supports the IRA orphanage foundation of their hometown or something? Some think it's good, others bad. You've told Tevez it's okay, you gonna tell this hypothetical guy it's not? There's going to be a line at some point. I say it's easier and better to cut out putting messages on under shirts completely. Let them talk about their foundations in interviews or in pictures outside a match.

I'm not saying he's not a talented football player, I'm saying he's acting selfishly by celebrating an equalizing goal against a midtable team and flashing new undershirts each time he scores regardless of the state of a game. It would not surprise me if he'd do that in a game where they were losing by 5 against a lower division squad because that's the kind of guy he is--self-centered. If a douchebag is the best player in the world, he's still a douchebag.

Tevez is more interested in selling undershirts than winning games and titles. Why else would you flash your undershirt when all you've done is drawn level with Liverpool? Seriously, the guy needs to be carded each time he does that. Else, more people are going to do it.

That's about how it reads now anyway. The press in the UK is very weird. They wear their biases against players on their sleeves. They ask leading questions trying to get players into trouble and whatever trouble they don't get they write misleading headlines anyway. The US is so different. Here, the sports press seems to stick up for players no matter how bad they act. Michael Vick anyone? I think the reason for the US's approach is that the press writers that give the favorable articles get exclusive interviews.

I expect us to struggle. We still have strikers without loads of confidence. The young guys coming in are largely inexperienced and small yet need to be integrated in. I really think we need a guy like Hulk who will bring in loads of confidence and some experience to go along side the current signings . I really don't know how we're going to play all of these young new signings. They are all so green and are going to be thrown to the wolves.

So let me get this straight. Anton did not hear the alleged insult during the game. Anton was trying to wind up Terry with insults about an old affair during the game. He also told JT directly after the game he didn't hear any racial insult. Anton didn't think anything of it until his girlfriend showed him a half cut off Internet clip. So basically everything comes down to an unclear (at best) video tape. When I saw the clip I though JT said, "Hey, hey, hey, (Ashley's head gets in the way around here) [i did not call you a] (Ashley's out of the way) f*ing black c**t." Or something like that. That's it? That's all this case has to it? People really hate Chelsea...That's about all this pathetic trial proves.
