Fergie will tell his players to imagine this match as the title decider, he'll say everything rides on this game, which is all good and well, but all his players know it's over, sure they will put a stint in, but it won't be 100% for 90 minutes, would you carry on running after crossing the finish line of a marathon, even if you did, you wouldn't be putting in the effort you were before you crossed that line, we must make sure we go 100% for 90 minutes.

Confidence should be high in the team following last nights win.

United having nothing to play for anymore except personal pride so that could possibly work in favour.

I'm expecting nothing less than a full strength starting XI for this one.

              Cech

Dave - Ivan - JT - Cole

       Ramires - Luiz

Oscar - Mata - Hazard

               Ba

We hopefully the rest that the likes of Cole, Mata, Oscar and Ba have had means they can come into the game with fresh legs and work hard for the 90 minutes, I'm hoping we can sneak a win in this one.

Id have this team but moses instead of oscar. Hazard and mata in great form, and i think moses would stetch them a bit more than oscar.

I won't argue with that, I was mostly basing my line up on who played last night, seeing as Oscar didn't start I would assume Benetiz will play him from the start against United.

As you said though Moses has given a decent account of himself in his last couple of starts and I do think Moses - Mata - Hazard could cause the United defense a lot of problems especially Moses's pace against Evra.

A win would be nice, but a draw wouldn't be a disaster.  The Spurs match is the real biggy.

If and it's a big "if", we were to get 3 points against United at the weekend than some of the pressure is off for the Spurs game and I think the pressure would then really be on them to get a result against us which might mean AVB gambles on getting Spurs to play a high line against us.

I think we have an opportunity in this game to nick 3 points and I am hoping we take full advantage.

If we get three points, and we can, we're laughing.  We've been better than them in every meeting so far this season.  We even looked better with a man down.

Just got this feeling that beating United, or not, will be the difference in our top 4 bid. I know we can list off all the crap performances against rubbish sides in the league that would have us home and dry by now. But here we are and I just worry about the knock to confidence we would get if we lost to United ahead of the Spurs game.

A draw wouldnt be bad but a win would be huge! Especially with that game against Spurs at home where we could really kill them off from 4th.

Come on Chels!

I'd bite your arm off if offered a draw right now.

I can also see Spurs dropping points vs Southampton tomorrow.

If spurs drop points tommorrow then for me sundays game becomes a nothing to lose type of game. That would make it less nerve wracking to watch

I hope United can't get up for this game, they really don't have anything left to play for.also United haven't conceded a penalty all season hopefully we can be the first to get one but I'm doubtful lol

Luiz HAS to play in midfield again.

Slightly worried. Will we suffer from the manager of the month curse?

I would take a point.

It's another 'cup final' match for us, although you could say that about every game left.

I fancy us to win. Undeniably United have been the best team in the league, but man for man I believe we're the stronger side.

It's a question of motivation and drive (although a lack of clinical finishing has also been our downfall this season), and recent games show we're getting that back.

I'm optimistic. On our best day, we'd win. And we have been picking up some momentum recently.
