saran75 reacted to just in World Cup 2026Messi is an absolute God of a footballer and Mbappe is nowhere near him.
But still, for me, Pele was the most complete footballer ever. He was brilliant at everything. A killer in front of goal, fantastic running with the ball, terrific in the air, strong in the tackle. Pace, stamina, an incredible football brain, tough as nails. A hat-trick in a World Cup semi-final at 17 followed up with two goals in the final. And all this in an age when balls weighed a ton compared to today, pitches could be like ploughed fields and defenders could literally amputate a striker's leg and not be penalised. He was magnificent.

saran75 reacted to Scott Harris in World Cup 2026That is just nonsense. Mbappe isn't even close to Messi at his peak. He could score 100 goals in a single year and he still wouldn't be better than Messi. Mbappe couldn't dream of doing things with the ball that Messi has done, but I have seen Messi do everything Mbappe is capable of doing.

saran75 reacted to yaz in Alejandro GarnachoI imagine the questions they asked were something along the lines of:
"Wtf is wrong with him?"
"Is he actually that bad?"
"What were you thinking when you signed him?!"
And so on...

saran75 reacted to 2211 in Marco PalestraRumours are we want £75m for Gusto and he’s in the new kit promos.
I’m starting to lose any hope of selling him, it seems there are some board members that really like him amazingly.

saran75 reacted to DarkMata in Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina nowWho can blame him? We’re a sh*t show he’s given it a chance and we’ve regressed. Players are ambitious if we can’t match those expectations players will leave. Continue as we have and next it will be Palmer, Caicedo, Joao Pedro, and Estevao. Chances are will replace them with lesser players and the Spursification will continue.
That’s what angers me most rather than Enzo rejecting us.
What I will say is he’s not a number 10 and if he goes to Madrid they won’t play him as a 10

saran75 reacted to The Rising Sun in World Cup 2026It's been refreshing so far to see refs generally letting the game flow instead of blowing up every time a player goes down.when tackled...
Some passages of play have left players on the deck with the game continuing regardless.

saran75 reacted to WhiteWall in Marc CucurellaWhy is it that there has to be so much drama. Why is it that people on social media are already trying to cultivate an underlying narrative of Alonso being undermined.
Not a single player in Alonso's Leverkusen team would have been deemed good enough for Chelsea despite the fact that over the last three years we haven't put out a single side in any match that would have matched up to them.
We have said all season that our players are mediocre and they proved it by finishing dead middle of the league, the definition of average. I liked Cucurella. I liked that he scored some important goals for us. I liked that he was committed to us and I liked that he had the front to speak honestly when questioned.
But he's just a player in a very average team. I want to see Alonso develop a team ethic and a camaraderie where the team is greater than its individual parts. To do that the players need to play for him and I don't really care who the individuals are. For all the Florian Wirtz, Frimpongs and Xhaka, he also had Nathan Tella and Andrich.
We have to reduce the squad and at the same time create a team and style with the main stock of players that we have, because we are going to struggle to sell a lot of these players.
I am not listening to the bullsh*t and negativity, I have enough of that baggage already. I am going to trust Alonso to develop our technical football, regardless of who the players are.

saran75 reacted to Snedger in Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea ManagerWhilst I don’t think Alonso himself is a bad appointment, I still have no optimism for next season. There’s no way enough changes can be made to this awful squad to allow any discernible improvement.
And I think it’s massively naive and overly optimistic to think the owners/SDs are going to change what they’re up to. Alonso has already been dumped with half of Strasbourg’s inexperienced players for next season before he’s even started the job.

saran75 reacted to Imran_CFC in Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2025/26Why are the defenders not passing it sideways between themselves?

Be nice if the lads put a bit more effort in for this, maybe someone should have made them watch the 70 final and replay so a little dig in the ribs wouldn't make them have to go off,
Not sure if the interim has watched the last few games but Hato is probably our most in form defender ( a stretch I know)
I'm past caring this season but this is Leeds, it's more than just a semi final.

saran75 reacted to Carloseyebrow in Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Tuesday 21st April 20:00 GMTHe’s out of his depth but I don’t blame him. I’m not sure he had much choice or option.
He’s made a bollix of the set up tonight that is on him, but the players have shown weakness, cowardice and no desire or loyalty to the badge.
That is I believe the worst 45 minutes I’ve ever seen from any Chelsea side.

Almost one way traffic. We are abysmal. The lack of ANY quality is astounding. We are making Brighton look like prime Brazil. They should be 3 or 4 up. It's embarrassing. It really can't get any worse than this.

saran75 reacted to PloKoon13 in Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Tuesday 21st April 20:00 GMTI've seen enough, change the formation. This is an utter fiasco. We can't keep possession even within our own half, and we can't stop them whatsoever when they're on the ball. Nobody knows what they're supposed to be doing. Total managerial failure.
-
Bringing on Guiu would at least been a sign Rosenior understands the concept of chasing an equaliser. Wouldn't have happened, but it's the thought that counts.
-
Joe Cole talking absolute gash as usual. He's putting the goal on Sanchez for clattering Fofana. If he doesn't come Fofana is the wrong side and ain't getting the ball.
Bad enough Joe Cole dressing like Eric Morecambe without him talking bo**ocks as well.

Actually, I would prefer us not to qualify for Europe at all to send a clear message to these crap owners and their sh*tty project.

saran75 got a reaction from Andy2461 in Chelsea vs Manchester United (PL) Saturday 18th April 20:00 GMTGarnacho... Have never seen him go by anyone... Even if he gets a run on them, turns back or slips... Most balls are back to cucu... Utd slick passing, this crowd have to take 2/3 touches 1st... Nobody running behind or causing Utd defence to run back, all the play is in front so they can attack every ball & player... Utd breaking at speed with runners into space.... Takes 2 mins for us to get to halfway ffs... Dunno who thinks this is a successful way to play when you don't have players who can go by defenders or midfielders that go by in the middle... Every time Palmer, Enzo or caicedo look up there's nothing.....
Delap, Garnacho.....the pricks that wanted & got these 2 especially need fukd out the door immediately
