Tuesday at 20:142 days Author Reports in Italy saying he's accepted terms, no major outlet reporting that yet. Apparently 150kpw.....Looks like wingbacks it is.
Tuesday at 20:282 days Isn’t he a RWB? €60m for a Serie A wingback who has just completed his first full season, out on loan away from his parent club.Gusto has been linked with City; but if he is meant to be his replacement, surely there are PL RBs with more experience. Also calls into question the new deal for James if he can’t be our first choice RB. You are not paying €60m for a 21yr old player to be depth.
Tuesday at 20:352 days Just now, Scott Harris said:That's Gusto gone if this goes through.Fingers crossed

We have Guéla Doué at Strasbourg who has been brilliant, Neco Williams who has been very good the last few seasons and can play both wings which seems to be Palestra’s unique selling point. Just feels like another project signing.
Tuesday at 21:282 days Never even heard of him until around 30 minutes ago but I am strong in my opinion that this is Zappacosta v2
Tuesday at 21:502 days Feels like the Madueke - Garnacho/Gittens move, where the club has invested years in Gusto’s development and then moved him on for another project one.Project signings are not bad if you are signing the cream of the crop.

It’s like when Kvaratskhelia was tearing up Serie A (WeAk LeAgUe) and we could have gone for him, ends up with two Champions league titles, and is arguably amongst the top 5 players in world football. Not to say, this guy is anywhere near that talent, but he’s an Italian youth playing where he was born, it is what it is. Least it’s not Bundesliga tax, we’ve had far more trouble with that.
Wednesday at 04:432 days If it means gusto can fk off then i'm onboard. I feel the french players in our team have been the worst for downing tools so im convinced removing the clique of gusto, fofana, badiash*te (and disasi while we are at it) will help us massively. Wednesday at 05:512 days I wonder who will be his backup if Gusto is sold. Feels like James will be either a wide cd or midfielder, so… Gittens maybe? I mean, Palestra is supposedly a VERY attacking wing back so it might be possible playing a winger there. Unless we do something crazy and promote from Cobham, Antwi would be perfect for it
Wednesday at 09:122 days Hopefully he’s decent but who knows. Relatively large fee on a guy with less than 50 top flight appearances. Classical BlueCo transfer, maybe it’ll work out this time.

Loaned to Cagliari for a season, a standard Atalanta procedure to widen young players' experience.
