  1. Reading those words in the post and trying to make sense of them for at lease 5min, then the penny dropped! = however, boycott. I must be getting to old to read these young ones posts late at night.
  2. mbh replied to Oblivion's topic in Chelsea FC Rumours
Taken with a pinch of salt comes to mind.
  3. Why would I write a statement? if I was not serious, when ever has a Dunstablian taken advise of a Lutonian? no I still stick with MK Dons.
  4. Always had a soft spot for Wimbledon followed their progress from non league, up through the football league divisions then to their amazing Cup Final were they outplayed and beat comprehensively their opponents to record a lucky win 1 - 0, also they supplied us with Dennis and Vinnie, still look for their results as MK Dons. But it is only Chelsea that can fill me with a thousand and one emotions
  5. Like the two posts above have said, would be a cold day in hell if it happens any time soon, just a little while before R.A. became our owner, a likeable fellow and Big Fan also started putting in a sizeable amount of his money into the club, turning us from also runs into a formidable side, his name, Matthew Harding, RIP mighty man, then R.A. appeared, step up another gear and we became what we are today, put a few opposing Teams noses out of joint but what the hell we enjoy it, but then we started getting a minority of not really football fans more lets say "joy riders" or "tourists" as someone else discribed them, which I think Barn was refering too. So really cannot see us having to many bad times for any time soon, especially as the young Abramovich appears to be a real Chelsea fan giving his reactions at matches, I am sure Daddy will let him have the reigns some time, so the future looks secure, the future is Blue.
  6. After a cracking game today with a tremendous performance & brillant away win, it seems we might be influenceing some members of the press, a decent report for once. http://www.guardian....-matteo-chelsea
  7. Haveto go with Mata, with special mentions for Cech, Mikel & Hazard. Great game, non stop action/drama for the full 90mins, let it slip 15/20mins 2nd half, but normal service is back on @ three point lane, super strike form Cahill for No1, Mata's two in three mins restored the ascendancy and substitute Sturridge's simple tap in completed a hugely satisfactory afternoon for the, what are we, we are CHAMPIONS of EUROPE. Last time we beat rottenham away was in 05/06, and we know how that season ended.
  8. All change at three point lane, yes lets keep on showing what we are about, Champions of Europe.
  9. Who was it wanted to sub MATA, go on my son

  11. I sincerely hope all families affected by Hillsborough will get some sort of solace and be able to grieve properly after the truth has finally emerge with this report, because at the end of the day, they where just 96 innocent football fans who became victims of other peoples incompetence, unfortunatelly as happens in accidents it is the innocent that suffer. I shall always remember Hillsborough as it happen on my brithday, after a great day came home to this horrendous news, so have always felt real sypathy to those victims. Hope now they can rest in peace.
  12. Bloody Hell!, reading these last couple of pages I thought I had pressed wrong key, but no I'm not on a Liverfool site, just seems like it. If RDM needs him, if he can handle him then why not buy him, bound to sell a few shirts diva or not, that always helps the coffers and if he scores a few goals along the way, I'll go with that to.
  13. See Tommy Doc's post above, could be just a little diversionary tactics going on.
  14. Perhaps R.A., that would count for all this non-news, speculation.
  15. Like a good few on here, being born in 75 means I have not had to suffer the lows as my dad or the older generation have had too do. The 94 Cup Final is one low, especially as we completed the double over United that year. Next is the 98-99 season it was looking a good that we could probably win the league and/or a cup but no we let it go at the final quarter of the season. The 2000 CL game v Barcelona 2nd leg is the start of many low points in the CL campaigns, along with of course Monaco, Moscow & overbo the clown. Also the Managerial sackings which to me seem even now hard to explain or accept, Luca, Jose and Carlo
  16. I read the first quote, and immediatly thought of the Cricketer, good man, now I find out he is a singer in a band, you live and learn.
