PL, Chelsea vs Newcastle, 22/11/08, 1500 GMT
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ext/5260856.stm 14 shots on target to their 0 12 shots off target to their 2 61% possession. This seems to be a recurring theme ¬___¬

Joe Cole wasn't that bad. He looked dangerous, but in fairness, could have done a lot more. As opposed to Malouda who did neither... ¬___¬

Football Manager
LOL! I haven't played a Manager game since FA Premier League Manager 2002, when I had the star team of: ---------------Barthez Ferrer - Melchiot - Desailly - Babayaro Stanic - Hamann - Petit - Gronkjaer ------Hasselbaink - Aleksidze We took the UEFA Cup by storm

RIP Mitch Mitchell
If they wander around heaven for a bit they can recruit Phil Lynott on vocals too

Favourite non Chelsea football chants
I have to admit that the 'Ten Men Went to Bed' chant made me laugh

Bloody hell, Lawro's predictions
He has a point though... Man Ure generally get knocked out by someone like Southend in the third round every year... In the last few years (with the exception of the one they won), I remember them losing to Southend, Coventry and West Brom in early rounds of the League Cup. Ah well...

LC 4th Round, Chelsea vs Burnley, 12/11/08, 19:45 GMT
We'd probably have won as well...
-
So does it really matter
It does matter... given the choice you would have taken the victory. ¬___¬ It's damn annoying, but it's just lucky it wasn't one of the more important cups.

PL, West Brom Vs. Chelsea, 15/11/08, 1730 GMT
Hmm... deja vu I only got three hours of sleep last night so I fell asleep after 20 minutes... I can't say I was best impressed with the start... but you all seem pretty convinced that we could have given them a tonking.

Is Jose after our talented winger?
He'll go there and be amazing though...

So do we get consistency on the Shed End
Well we are still top of the league and top of our Champions League group. Who in the Premiership has played better than us this season... we've had four bad games? And we've only lost two of those... in normal time, at least. Arsenal have lost to Stoke, Hull and Fulham and are completely inconsistent and don't have a solid leader to rely on. Man Utd haven't looked great either, they've lost twice and have (Like us, I must admit...) looked less than convincing against good opposition. The promises of their blistering attack seem to be premature. Dippers have ridden their luck all season. I've seen them put in one good performance, and that was against Man Utd. A mixture of poor decisions and deflected goals has seen them keep up with us somehow. Even against us they weren't that good... they just got lucky and we couldn't get it in.

Any team would miss the top scorer in the Premier League

Penalties - again
Cudicini - lacking match experience and dare I say past it ¬___¬ Ivanovic - good Alex - good, sometimes caught out of position Belletti - good but got injured and still a defender by trade Bridge - average... why the hell was he captain? Ferreira - average and apathetic Deco - hit and miss, no good against rough opposition, for example... a lower division side Mineiro - completely past it Malouda - sh*te Drogba - not fully fit Kalou - sh*te
-
MOTM vs Burnley
Belletti, as he had the least amount of time in which to disgrace himself.

LC 4th Round, Chelsea vs Burnley, 12/11/08, 19:45 GMT
How true. As soon as we go behind or look like we're not getting the run of things in midfield, everyone starts taking punts from miles out. Lampard, Mikel and Ashley Cole are particularly guilty of this. Too true. I'd boot them out for the next few games. They're an absolute farce and not fit to wear the shirt.

Scolari makes competent substitution shock
I heard this happened once. Has anyone heard anything about this whisper?
-
LC 4th Round, Chelsea vs Burnley, 12/11/08, 19:45 GMT
"Kalou and Malouda had shockers" I seem to remember hearing that somewhere before... They're not fit to wear the shirt. I've had enough of them. It's just been sh*t performance after sh*t performance (Kalou's exception being Man Ure), and I think that someone (ANYONE) else deserves a chance. Can Stoch and Sinclair really be any worse than those two clowns? But seriously, we had 23 shots on goal, only seven of those were on target, and only one went in. Our attack is an absolute f**king joke. Scolari needs to sort it out, and fast.

MOTM vs Burnley
I don't know, there wasn't a single stream showing the game... And that twat Jonathan Stevenson was too busy rambling on about some Liverpool penalty that wasn't given. And Sky Sports update was shocking...
-
Penalties - again
Have we won a penalty shoot-out in the last ten years? I remember Losing pre-season game vs Lokomotiv Moscow Losing Champions League final vs Man Utd Losing Community Shield vs Man Utd Losing Champions League semi vs Liverpool Losing Carling Cup 3rd round vs Charlton

LC 4th Round, Chelsea vs Burnley, 12/11/08, 19:45 GMT
Di Santo's injured ¬___¬ Scolari's used all three subs, so our only attacking options left are Malouda and Kalou. Shall we just give up now and put this down as a job badly done? ¬____¬
-
LC 4th Round, Chelsea vs Burnley, 12/11/08, 19:45 GMT
Oh f**king hell... Drogba off for Di Santo and then Akinbiyi scores...
