Is Jose after our talented winger?

Jose obviously see's something we have tried hard but rarely seen if there is any truth in this from the Mirror

Florent Malouda is a target for Inter Milan.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho picked up Malouda for £13.5million while he was in charge of Chelsea 18 months ago, and he is still a big admirer of the French winger, who has never really lived up to expectations since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has already been told he must sell before he can buy in January because of the credit crunch.

That situation may mean Scolari is tempted to trim his squad as he would like to bring in a new striker.

Malouda has promised to see out the remainder of his fouryear contract at Chelsea, but he has a good relationship with Mourinho and that might tempt him away.

Chelsea midfielder Deco has revealed he snubbed the chance to rejoin his former Porto manager Mourinho at Inter in the summer to go to Stamford Bridge and join Scolari instead

Deco feels Mourinho is "arrogant" and that is why he wanted to move to Chelsea - even though he confesses he would love to go back to Barcelona one day.

Deco said: "Analysing both proposals, I felt that I would fit in at Chelsea better and the challenge was more interesting.

"Every coach has their own way of doing things and Mourinho seemed arrogant from a distance, but he is an excellent professional and understands his players well.

"Felipe is a very serious person that does not like joking or playing around, but he is a very good man.

"I simply felt that it was the right time to leave Barcelona.

But if I had to choose between Portugal, England or Barcelona, I would live in Barcelona because it is a great city."

Why doesn't Scolari play Sinclair or Kalou instead of Malouda if he indeed is so bad? His workrate is impressive going forward and back, something that JM values of a player.

I agree it is not nice to witness Malouda passing a player once in 5 games but he tries to more than often play 1-2 with Ashley or Bridge and create space that way.

In W.Brom game how many times did you see Malouda with the ball going forward and how many times was it Kalou? The answer is Kalou 0, Malouda 5-10 times. His brilliant one touch pass let Lampard through also.

I understand what you are saying though, he isn't what we expected. He is no Robben or Duff but he does find Anelka fairly well and he is improving IMO all the time.

JM would be happy to have him as is Scolari. Don't trash him just because he's french B)
