  1. Totally agree, the amount of times Anelka was near the half way line with nobody on the last man frustrated me no end, plus was it just me or did Sturridge just seem to be abit more lively than Kalou?... and less clumsy on the ball in promising areas too haha Anyway, good result despite the pen, many positives to take from it.
  2. From The Times online by Matt Dickinson: "But with defeat, bitterly accepted, came a reminder that this year’s pro-gress in Europe should always have been regarded as an unexpected bonus rather than a proof of Chelsea’s might. No club who sack a manager halfway through the season (particularly his first season) can claim to have worked cleverly or strategically. How lucky, too, Chelsea had been that they could phone a friend halfway through the season in Hiddink, but it had been expecting an awful lot that he should be able to turn a faltering team into European champions. "
  3. you f**king serious?? we didn't take our chances?? thats beacuse half the chances we had they either handballed or fouled us! how the f*ck can we expect to score if the ref bottles it everytime a BIG decision comes around? yes abidal got sent off for nothing but that just shows how bad this ref is and what was he trying to do? even it up slightly? that bald norwegian tosser. Well Platini & co. you got what you wanted... not another english final and your loveable Barca who we outplayed. bring on Drogba's 20 match suspension for stating the simple truth. f**king Disgrace
  4. well come Wedenesday lets prove him wrong.
  5. The thing with Gerrard is that his reputation preceeds him. Refs don't believe that he would do anthing to break the rules, plus with the fact that they are more on the look out for players like Ronaldo and the Drog diving. He is also extremely popular to many pundits, officials and others as im sure youve all realised...
  6. 55. because he is a Legend. Simple as.
  7. i said Drogs, he just loves terrorising those dippers! great work effort and vision for the goals Lamps was magnificent too tho, a close second.
  8. what a game, atleast we made it- just. wtf was Cech on tonight? he was awful. how can those scum have any complaints bout the ref? dirty mascherano got away with murder (almost) and that challenge on essien by i think it was arbeloa was a def red too. we dont make it easy for ourselves do we SUPER FRANK!!! :D B)
  9. just a thought, but i reckon benitez might change his tactics from last week and put gerrard out right so as to be free from essien's pocket, or atleast drag him to a position where essien isnt as good and gerrard will be able to hav some more of the ball. But surely after we comprehensively thrashed em last week, he will be looking to change things in some way?
  10. seconded. quality player but with attitude problems we dont need
  11. lol wish i was an agent with the amount they make these days... i think we were also linked with him in L'equipe but i havnt got the link this is Pink Zahavi signing out haha x :D
  12. seen this on goal.com. dont know much about him but his video on youtube looks class http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zo...ane-sessegnon-t http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSSQIPg8pKU&translated=1
  13. if we've learnt anything about liverscum its that they love a comeback. Lets not get complacent as they will thrive on being the underdogs and being written off this time, just as we were by many pre match last night. they have nothing to lose and will look to attack, it didnt seem possible that we could score 3 at anfield but we did proving anything can happen. Lets finish the job at the Bridge first, it aint over till its its over.
  14. SENSATIONAL!! we closed them brilliantly down all over the park. best performance i can remember in a long time. so good seeing those scouse rat munchers shut up and deflate their self righteous egos lol Golden Guus has worked his magic, could have been more than 3 and even malouda had a great game! Ivanovic's goals were quality and he was solid in defence. Bring on the 2nd leg So good to be in blue tonight!! ;) :D
  15. i agree with many others views that we need a younger, rejuvinated, hungry squad. after thinking (for about 2 seconds) i would like to see Malouda, Ballack and Deco out asap for obvious reasons. As for we who we hopefully get in that all depends on who is in charge next season and how they want to fit their style of play. when we won the legue we had quality even on the bench, ok SWP was hit and miss but him and duff still had the ability to help change a game when they came on and fill in well when injuries hit robben. I would like us to get sturridge as a back up and he could be very good in the future, looking more promising than di santo atm imo. Dzeko looks like he could make the grade for us and he is young and hungry for success, id rather get him now whilst he is around the £15 mill mark than get another 10 mill + slapped on it by another club later on. Zhirkov seems like he could do a good job on wing or as LB too so i hope the speculation is true there. VDV or Dzagoev could be an exciting buy aswell, but we really need wingers (and Young surely wudnt leave Villa). my prefered more high profile players would be Ribery, Benzema or Silva, i dont want us to get ripped off for them but we probs need at least 1 big signing for next season tho. Cheers
  16. hey all, Personally i think Sven has proven he is a very good club manager as shown in Lazio and even city. BUT i wudnt trust him as far as a midget cud throw him cos i think he wud take us for millions like he did the FA. plus i reckon he wudnt be that loyal either, not if someone came in with a more lucrative offer IMO and we need stability and a long mangerial reign now. cheers, <_<
