I voted for Cole myself but I have to agree with ya I like what I have seen from Mikel thus far in the season. Be interesting to see if he can carry that play over against some more rated competition, would definitely be a positive sign of Maturity for Mikel.

I would agree with you but the stands were the same against us as they were for Wigan vs Blackpool, infact Blackpool seemed to outnumber most of the supporters of Wigan. In fairness it is Blackpool's first year back in the top but regardless, it still reflects poorly on Wigan and surely the lack of finances can't help them stay in the top league. I've never been a big fan of Wigan and I won't be too sorry when I see them go down to the Championship for a turn.

I have to say I like what I saw from Kalou and Sturridge late in the game, they both weren't far from scoring at least a couple times. I'd also have to agree with some others that I really can't say Ferreira is quite first-team quality, need to find another right back.

Would love to have Begovic on board, could always use more Canadians at Chelsea :P

At least we got them at home, I'm sure from Ancellotti's perspective he would of like a lower side to play some of the younger players, but it is what it is.

Big fan of Mancienne's but ya I've been saying for a while that he's not quite Chelsea calibre, whether he can get there or not, I don't know. Maybe after another year, but it seems he's destined for another team on permanent loan where he can continue to play first team football.

To be fair we had to invest a lot of money in order to rise to top of the league, the difference is we started winning after investment, they have not. It's all about investing your money wisely.

As it is now I'd like to see 'em through, I think it looks good for England, and it certainly intensifies any rival between us. Let's be serious the Spurs won't be winning their group, they won't win, they won't get to the semis and they won't get to the quarters (certainly not the way they're playing). Obviously as usual there is a lot to this story that we aren't being told, the other thing going on here is I really think Santos is worried about losing Neymar otherwise they wouldn't have released that huge press release on their website nor would they have tried this tapping up hoopla. I think Neymar is really ready to try Europe, but as others have said this is a lot of money, will he come through? I dunno but too rarely Chelsea a lot of money on players who are a lot older, with a kid like Neymar IF he pans out even if he were to move on eventually his stock would be worth a lot more if we were to sell him around 25-30 then it would were we to keep selling players at 30+ like we do.
