Romelo Lukaku would be a huge boost for me if signed, I love the fact we could sign a young physical forward and is just what the doctor ordered in my opinion. Hopefully the finances are not too far fetched...

I think people are both concerned for the future of The Chels in regards to the age of our premier players and the financial gaps that our clubs has built. It is only logical then that many of us wish to see our youth to succeed in order to fill that gap. Whether its logical for them to play or not is different matter but no one can deny that them gaining first team starts is certainly a psychological boost for the fans of the team, but again I will not argue the legitimacy of this in terms of actual development.

Hopefully this Ramires form continues and isn't just a flash in the pan. One thing that worries me going forward is that Chelsea seem to have gotten a lot smaller now, I think one of the things that made us so successful was our physicality. But perhaps this is not the right thread for that discussion.

While he might be a player of calibre I find our immediate needs to be creativity in midfield and most importantly of all finishing ability up front. Good as Luiz and Piennar might be I don't see either of these players fulfilling our needs.

Which again brings up the point can we really trust any of the rumours brought up by the British press?

To the comment above I think that's because our support comes from areas that may be slightly less dense than other communities within London. But I could be wrong on that, after all I'm no geographer.

As for the comments on Fabregas, I'm not too sure he's exactly enamoured with Arsenal just now either so I'm not sure thats the best of comparisons.

Call me a stereotypical fan but I think the outlook of our youth right now looks great. That being said I can't help but feel that it will take bigger injection than just youth to put us on the pinnacle again. Regardless lets give these kids some more play time though, yes Carlo?

Although I wasn't initially sold on the Carlo in as manager thing to begin with I was quickly sold otherwise after last years historic season. In addition to that I can't really complain about the start of the season we had, I think we axe managers far too early and far too often and can't help but think that not everything regarding this bad sport has been something that Carlo could control. I'd like to see the rest of the season out before judging Carlo, and I think we'll have to strengthen the squad over the next year if we wish to continue to contend for trophies.

I think all the fans AND players needed this. Let's build from here mates

I'm definitely of the category that squad strength and age have been the chief contributors of our loss of swagger. How to get it back I don't know, but considering the debt we've accumulated I'm not sure how we right this ship as we can't simply spend our way out of it as we have done in the past.

Needed that win, hopefully we can build from here. Its really just a matter of getting our mojo back
