  1. That really wouldn't improve our financial standing vs other teams though, would it.
  2. I'd sh*t ma pants if we got Sneijder but the age and cost is a bit of a concern for me, I don't know if he could be Lamps replacement, but there is still hope that young Josh can mature and grow his game in the meantime
  3. It certainly has the feeling of a low scoring affair

Seems a bit of a stretch to win out at this point but all things are possible and they way everyone is dropping points who knows how this season will end up. Certainly with the amount of games remaining at the Bridge things seem a little favourable for the rest of the schedule
  5. Couldn't agree more, plus with them playing us at the Bridge with a few chinks in their armour only makes our prospects better, that is a massive game that we absolutely must win.
  6. Ya ranks with the Pompei Chimes in my opinion.

I think you can say then that the table is a result of greater parity in the league, arguably 6 teams in their own tier.
  8. Ironic that our forwards have had trouble scoring this season and its our defence that came up with the big goal to turn things around
  9. Hope the team can take this win and build off it, still have a CL to win
  10. You've gotta say that Luiz looks hella better in that CB position than Ivanovic, the right decision has been made there
  11. You know I think for the stadium it was the right choice, it'll be a legacy of the games, and the grounds will include cricket, football, and athletics. Surely a terrible thing for the West Ham fans who had a good thing in Upton Park IMO. But the real winner here was the London Olympic Stadium
  12. Let the lad rest, he's been depending upon for several years now as the primary scorer, he's old and obviously had a tough last 12 months. Give him some time and perhaps he may recover but he looks out of sorts just now
  13. I don't really have anywhere else to put this, but scouse airport

    and Citeh and Tottenham
  15. Tough loss but obviously this game meant more to Liverpool and they ground out a win. Can't say they were that special but it was a lacklustre performance from our side that sealed it.
  16. I wonder if scousers realise they having to make up a cup final games when they play the big teams in the premiership because they are out of every competition, yet they're still a big club. Also you know what a big clubs fans sound like in the premiership?
  17. Great to see Studge get on the board again, wasn't an outstanding goal by any means but he's making the most of his opportunities and proving himself to the Chels.
  18. I chose to comment after the game since my comments during the Blackpool match could not have helped. It's all to lose for the scum now
  19. This is the internet, be prepared for the consequences
  20. Be a shame to see him go, though we'll have to see how things play out with him and Torres for the rest of the year. However whether he stays or not his time is getting shorter, for the right price we should let him go, preferably to Marseille. Or wherever he wants to go, he's earned that much at least.
  21. I guess the question is whether Suarez and/or Carroll can fill those shoes now
