Random Rumours
Hmmm Icelandic player you say, didn't we have a guy like that once? What was his name ;)
-
Papis Cisse
We should probably buy him just so he won't put those screamers past us again

Lukaka Loan
And we're writing him off because he's had the fair chance to show already? Hardly not, let's loan the bloke out and get him some first team football where we can see him play a full 90 minutes before we even think about labelling him a bust.

Chelsea v Liverpool (FA Cup Final) 05/05/12 KO 17:15 BST
I have a f**king breakfast meeting tomorrow at 10am CST here in Canada, that means I could miss the first half or more. A little disappointed about that, but will still be watching with the best of my ability till then. Go on the Chels!

Do fan forums increase tribalism?
I don't think they increase tribalism but I would certainly suggest that they do increase the willingness of people to say whats on their mind without as much of a filter. You see the same thing on news sites that allow messages or postings of sorts when it comes to issues like race as well. Theres always some nuts that let their mouths run into the internet with vile that is only amplified. I think the reality is that it is the effects of the internet that allow these kinds of emotions to be purely channeled, whether it is fandominium, partisan politic rhetoric, or any kinds of tribalism or racism.

Battersea bid
I would have to agree, it is not really all that clear how or what a stadium would look like on the new site, what parts would be incorporated, etc. I don't think the actual pitch will be built inside the building, I don't see how it can be so it will interesting to see how they go about it and turning the building into a stand.

Battersea bid
Ya I hear ya, but I think the map is just a general idea. I never heard if they updated it though they suggest that they might

Battersea bid
Let's run it by the unofficial map That being said I've been an unashamed supporter of a new stadium for Chelsea. As with everyone else my first option would be to resize the original stadium but as time has gone on it seems increasingly unlikely. The options and vision for this stadium are limitless. Just look at the previous pic provided by another user. Having another world class stadium that would keep this team in the upper echelon of London, England, the UK and Europe for the next 50-100 years is wondersome thought. I just think of the current fan's retort to Liverpuddlians, "making history, not living off it". Well this stadium could do exactly that. Many more questions to answer in the coming months but this makes this summer that much more exciting with the various thoughts and projects stemming from this site and the club. Go on the Chels!

Fellaini
Fellaini with his size and tough tackles is also known as one who is the most frequently dribbled on that team, mostly because of his said size and pace. He's still an intriguing prospect though the price tag is a little pondersome. http://theexecutionersbong.wordpress.com/2012/03/01/is-marouane-fellaini-the-top-flights-most-aggressive-midfielder/

Chelsea v Newcastle Utd 02/05/12 KO 19:45 GMT
It was always going to be harder with all the matches we have condensed into this period with the depth of our squad. Its all to play for on the 19th now.

Chelsea v Liverpool (FA Cup Final) 05/05/12 KO 17:15 BST
I am clearly biased but I think our success in big games at Wembley will still give us the advantage. We seem to lose games against Liverpool when as others have mentioned we should beat them on paper but don't on the pitch. I think coming into a one match one win game like this that a cup final is just different from the league games we have lost to Liverpool. Here's hopin

Chelsea v Bayern Munich (CL Final) 19/05/12 KO 19:45 BST
I am not quite sure that plan will work as well against someone like Gomez than it did vs the team play of Barcelona but who knows. If we did get criticized for it it should also be mentioned about the fact that it was likely forced through yellows depletion and not because of tactics that were freely chosen. Even if we do get criticized for it, it is still a statement of desire, defence alone cannot win you championships and this team if they do win the final through means like that will have shown that pure desire and will have won the championship. I know "beautiful footballers" will criticize it, but how often do teams like Chelsea win in this way? It will be a testament in itself not a pejorative in my opinion.

Marko Marin
There were plenty of doubters about Cahill and Ramires before the played and despite their price tag and reputation have turned out to be quite the players. It may take some time to figure out whether Marin belongs in that class or is just another Kalou

Marko Marin
Haha well this might be a little overly optimistic but here's hoping!

Marko Marin
On paper and youtube he is exactly one of the players we need. Whether he can do these things at Chelsea are the things that we as fans will get critique over the next few seasons. As a shameless fan I'll be cheering for an upstart player. It seems as though his playing style could work well with a Mata and hopefully one of our CFs is putting things together in the final third and these lads can get whoever that is the ball.

A move from Stamford Bridge
Ron Gourlay using this final as a threat of sorts saying without a new stadium we are unlikely to get back to a final soon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17839225

Chelsea v Bayern Munich (CL Final) 19/05/12 KO 19:45 BST
Ya UEFA said there was no way that would happen this time but would be something they would look at in the future.

Random Rumours
i don't think losing will cost us that much. I mean the Citeh managed to attract players well enough when outside of the CL, we may miss out on someone like Hazard but there are other decent buys that would be willing to come our way regardless of that CL spot based on pedigree alone.

Lukaka Loan
I would argue that would be better done through loans where they could get consistent first team starts in the prem

I agree with the Ramires and the Ivan part, not sure about the Sturridge part at this point though

Chelsea v Bayern Munich (CL Final) 19/05/12 KO 19:45 BST
Is it really that big of advantage if they are at home? I do not think entirely since the tickets are distributed evenly are they not. A Champions League final is almost always neutral whether it is at a "home ground" or not. If anything I think there may be more pressure to win at home, of course this is a biased opinion in this case.
