Most of these players are either overpriced; Enzo, Gusto, Jackson, Guiu, Delap, and or are just flops and only a loan with buy option; Badiashille, Delap, Disasi. Any one interested in buying any of our players will wait till the last week of the window when we are desperate for funds.

Why would they sell a player they paid €75m for €68m considering quality CFs are at a premium? He will demand big wages though; around £350k/w+, he is on €300k/w net at Galatasaray. Spurs certainly can pay the wages, but I think they have a bigger need for quality wingers.

Long term, Hall looks like the better option.

Needs to be sold to a midtable club with a buyback clause, somewhere he will play regularly for 2-3 seasons. We are not helping him by holding onto him, and not playing him. This is his make or break season.

Ideally Enzo leaves so you can move Palmer into “10”, or sits in midfield (nightmare) which allows you to develop Estevao at RW. Quenda will rotate at RW, or Neto if he stays. That leaves Morgan Rogers at LW, moving into a “10” if Palmer is unavailable. Gittens as RW sub, with Welbeck as backup to Pedro. Can’t see where Emegha gets mins without European football.

Not a chance! So they want to make a profit on a player after he had an awful season. Anyone buying him now will need a season loan first to see if last season was a blip or not. There is also the little problem of his ridiculous contract. He was on £20k/w at Ipswich, they have bumped him up to £100k/w with an extra £20k/w bonus. At any of those linked teams he will be a top 3 earner. You would need to be certain he can deliver.

That would screw up our window. Have a sneaky feeling they have already spent his fee, sounds crazy, and I know they keep saying they can afford to amortise 3 £100m+ players. But can they really? Rogers also plays predominantly in the pockets occupied by Enzo.

The only issue is if he decides to stay and insists on playing further upfield. Need to lose 13 players. Arteta has told Badiashille he isn’t in his plans, Jorgensen is Strasbourg loan bound, Chalobah might still be going to Como for a low €28m + €2m add on fee. Arteta said he needs 4-5 CB, so we need to lose 5 CBs.

We already have Rogers, Gittens, Quenda, and Satpaev can also operate on the left. Kerim needs guarantees and proper game time, which he won’t get here.

They don’t play the same position though, and Maresca knows Enzo well to know it’s suicidal playing him deep. If the Rodri deal happens, can see them pairing Wharton with Anderson.

My question though is we are playing 1 game a week, with a PL match day squad of 20. Let’s assume 1st 11 is Sanchez, James, Lacroix, Colwill, Hato *, Caicedo, Enzo, Morgan, Palmer, Estevao, Pedro. Bench of Penders, Palestra, Fofana, Henderson, Essugo, Gittens, Neto, Welbeck, Quenda. You then have in the stands, sold or loaned out Acheampong, Anselminho, Tosin, Gusto, Delap, Jackson, Emegha, Barco, Lavia, Sarr, Chalobah, Badiashille, Disasi, Jorgensen. That last group of 14 players needs to be trimmed down to 5 players for the PL squad list. ** We technically can’t sell Barco or Emegha this summer, since they were registered for the first time in this window and only a loan is possible.

Henderson is one, and Barco is the 2nd as things stand. Unless they sell Enzo for big money, no one else is coming in.

Dembele had to leave Barca for a less physical Ligue 1, and is still getting his games and mins managed. You are right though, ideally you loan him to Strasbourg for 2 seasons. The Strasbourg squad is a mess though, because they bought too many players.
