Like most others are saying, I think we had a lot of positives in the match and the negatives were minimized at least for tonight. My MOTM... Mikel. I thought he had a brilliant match. He won possession a countless number of times and his passes were spot on just about every single time. Great to see Torres get assists. I hope that will boost his confidence even more. Thought Meireles had a good match. Sturridge looked very good. And Mata? Mata is going to be something special for us I believe. Love that we have him on the squad. A good round of applause for all the lads tonight. And another for Ballack. Bravo. Let's hope this good display catapults us to a good match versus Manu this weekend. We'll need to play well.

Thomas Müller would be good for us as well. Here's another name, albeit a young German, that is going to be outstanding in the next few years (he's been mentioned around here before): Mario Götze If we couldn't grab Özil, I'd seriously make a go for Götze. He's 19, plays as a CAM, and I think he'd fit in well with Josh in our midfield in the next coming years.
