Torres Form
Exactly. Completely spot on. Bravo.

Luka Modric
I hope that is not the deal for £27 million + Sturridge... While I'd like to see Modric, I don't want to see Sturridge leave.

Torres Form
I'm not concerned this pre-season yet. There's been a lot of focus on Torres because I think everyone either wants to see him succeed (Chelsea fans and the one or two media folk that aren't looking to throw dirt on us) or they want to see him fail (everyone else). That's what happens with someone with as high profiled as he is AVB still needs time. I think he's identified the issues, it's now time to get to work on fixing them. And I believe he is.

Random Rumours
Interesting news indeed. I wonder how much is actually accurate versus people just overreacting.

Really? Where did you hear/read that from?

Would also like to see Johnson signed. Of course, it would be for an inflated fee if MCFC wanted to sell him to us at all, which they probably wouldn't.

Official Transfer Thread
Agreed, good business by Villa.

Luka Modric
I thought it was on purpose as well. I had a good laugh about it. :D

Overseas fans, How? Why?
They are on par. Matter of fact, it's scary how alike they are...
-
Following our ex`s...
Agreed. That was a thing of beauty.

Copa America
That's good, because I would have called for your man card if you had. ;)

Liverpool's transfers
What, only 51% believe they will be champions? Are they starting to get a little sense to them? Nah...

Copa America
Have to agree completely. Extremely gorgeous!

City fan here. No one likes us, we don't care!
It could be because they wanted to establish a legacy at City that wasn't previously there. United has been successful, so they would just be another set of "owners". Where at City, they could become legends in the fans eyes because they are the ones that interjected the funds necessary to establish City as one of the premier clubs in the World. The history books would never forget that. It could also be that no other clubs were available at the time. Maybe they just liked the sky blue color? ;) I know, like us, that you're happy that you have the ownership that you have. Like or dislike what they do on a day-to-day basis, they have proven that they want City to succeed and will put up the cash to make it happen. Cheers, and good luck this upcoming season.

Copa America
That it has Castiel, that it has.

Women's WC
Japan deserved the victory after working hard for 120 minutes and converting the penalties. They got unlucky with the offsides call in the 63rd minute. The US also would have deserved the victory if they had won it. It was a back and forth final with the US dominating most of the match. They just couldn't finish, and that's what needed to happen. I was sad to see the US lose, but I'm happy to see Japan win it after everything they've gone through. Sawa was my player of the tournament. She scored the second equaliser and this is her fifth WWC. Japan is the vehicle, she is the engine.

Anyone else starting to sense something big is coming?
I do believe some of our fans are being impatient. AVB is just getting the feel for the team, give the man some time. I have no doubt that he'll identify what he thinks we'll need, and we'll make an effort to get that. Assuming anything else is just ridiculous really. There's a reason he's a top flight manager. This isn't his first time doing this. Have some faith and a little patience.

Women's WC
The US women's team wears two stars. They might be changing that though come Sunday evening.

Don't know how I missed this post. Great video, classy.

Are Spurs close to us?
According to the table finishes over the last 15 years, we're obviously very close.
-
Luka Modric
I see what you're saying but I wouldn't mind us going a little bit higher to try to get this deal done. I don't want to see ridiculous money though, but unfortunately I think that might be what it takes.

Women's WC
Japan is going to be tough. They were clinical against Sweden. If the US can win the midfield and steal some chances against that Japanese possession, they'll have a good chance. The French were the better team until Rapinoe came on. IMHO, she was the difference maker. After her sub, the US kicked it into a whole different gear.
