Drab first half. We really haven't looked threatening. Couple of half-opportunities, but that's about it. Hope AVB has something up his sleeve for the second half.

I didn't get to see this match, was trying to enjoy the rest of my vacation. And since I was wearing my current kit, I was able to give some Chelsea fans that were enjoying Disney World the bad news as well. I have one simple question, then I'm going to go find some of the highlights... How did we rack up 2 yellows on only 8 fouls and Arsenal got 3 yellows on 19 fouls? I get that not all fouls are yellows but really? Am I missing something here? And I'm not blaming the refs for the loss, because I know I haven't seen it. Something just smells a-miss with those stats...

Wish I could have seen the match, but it wasn't on here. Glad to see that we gelled for this one. Thrilled to see Torres get a brace. Meireles has been an excellent acquisition for us to date. Lesser opposition or not, Genk is still in the Champions League and we did what we were suppose to do. That should put a smile on our faces and optimism for our upcoming fixtures. I know it does for me.

On my PSP Fifa 12, I'm running a 4-4-2 diamond with Lukaku and Sturridge as my strikers. Torres is actually my sub. I bought Götze for just under $40 million, and he's been a star. He scored a hat trick in his first match as my CAM. Second season, and I think he's an 89 now. I run Lamps as my back up CAM. I sold Cech and bought Neuer. I sold Malouda as well to help fund the Neuer purchase. I actually kept Kalou as an "insurance policy". I sold Didier to the Wolves and kept Anelka. I've stayed with the backline of: Cole - JT - Luiz - Ivan I'm in the process of scouting for more defense. Fun game, even for the PSP. The PSP doesn't seem much different than the 11 version though. I'm interested to get back and play it on the 360 to see how it is on that.

Ace, you are correct on all accounts. When I was traveling a lot for my last project, I was watching the European version of ESPN quite a bit. And I actually agree with you on the announcers, Darke and McNamara aren't too bad. McNamara will go on his spouts at times but he's not completely horrible.

Didn't see the match, but everything I read points to Mata being a pretty clear-cut MOTM. So I voted for him.

I didn't get to watch it, but reading the comments it sounds like Mata was huge for us (as well as others but he seems to be the standout for this match). Love it. I can't wait to get back home to be able to watch the Blues!

I'm not sure how I feel about the Bossy deal. Cam said it brilliantly. Bos is an enigma for us, you never really know what you're going to get. Problem is, who could/would we get that's better? I know there are better RB's out there, but whether we can get them is another thing.

Which one do I want out of the top 4? Tottenham, Tottenham, and effing Tottenham. After what that c**t Levy pulled on us and the natural hatred that courses through my veins for that sh*te organisation, I not only want these pricks to fall to the bottom four, but I want them to experience back-to-back relegations... Seriously. Arsenal doesn't phase me much. They are average at best. I know Liverpool adores their King Kenny and I would love to see them out of the top four as well. Still doesn't top the rage I have for the Spuds especially after this summer. Fuel to the fire so to speak.

Götze is certainly a star waiting to happen (or arguably a star already). The kid is just amazing. His pass to Müller for the second goal was just pinpoint accurate. I agree completely with your statement on Reus. He's not at that level but he's got a lot of talent. Germany 9-for-9! Now back to the original purpose of the thread.

GoW 3 has been good. Thoroughly enjoy it to this point. I won't enjoy Fifa 12 until I get home though from my business trip.

I have to say that I haven't watched Ajax at all this season to date. I know it's a pipe dream but I always wanted to see Philipp Lahm wearing our kit. I'm high on Bertrand and PvA, but Lahm would give us the flexibility of a world class LB or RB. He could slot in immediately at RB with a CB duo of JT and Ivan/Luiz/Alex (depending on matchup). And if Ash goes down with an injury (knocking on wood here...), we could slot Lahm at LB and slide Ivan to RB.

Phew... Only got to watch the penalties via stream since I was at work late, I think I was biting my nails the whole time.

Wow... Gutted over that one. Ugh.
