The thing about Mikel that I have observed for Chelsea and Nigeria is that he is extremely unselfish, probably to a fault. He will always do what's best for the team. Sure he can play a more advanced role but its best for somebody like Mata or Hazard to do so. With the Nigeria team he is asked to play further up the pitch and he does that. There are times though that players are out of position and Mikel will wait back and fill that spot. Sometimes I think he should play a little more selfish. In the end he does things that the ignorant fan (linesy91) doesn't see and he doesn't get credit for it. (We wouldn't have won the CL without him, and that's a fact)

You are obviously wrong! If he should be playing for a team like Fulham, then why hasn't any manager in the past years for Chelsea sold him? Apparently you know better than Jose, Carlo, AVB, RDM, etc.

I really can't stand some people and the way they view Mikel. Not even looking at talent the kid has represented Chelsea with class and has played huge parts in the success of the club. Then people say they can't wait till he is gone. He hasn't said a word about be upset when hasn't played. He hasn't been any drama like JT or Cole. He has been a class act when talking about the club. Now looking at talent, he gets a bad wrap again. He has a great game in the confeds cup and he gets bashed because of thr opponent. if that was somebody like Oscar or Hazard the same people would be sayig how great he played. Is he Yaya Toure? No, but he is solid player and the fact that how many Chelsea Managers keep selecting him says something. He plays one of the better long balls and he can control the midfield. now he has been inconsistent at times but who hasn't? And maybe there is some truth that Jose "ruined" him? Maybe he should have been played further forward. I think some people don't see it because of how much Jose is loved, but the past is the past. He deserves a little more respect from the fans for the loyalty he has shown this club. He has been a quiet leader of this team and at 26 could be entering a great part of his career.

Anybody know the possible sites that we can play on thr US tour. I know the first game is in Indy. Where else could we play?

Replaces Marin??? Are you expecting him to play in 6 games like Marko did? I like Schurrle but he was not bought to replace Marin. He is going to get a lot more timeand that will take time away from others. I think that is the concern of some people. Especially with KDB coming back and guys like Moses still here (by the way I personally feel moses is perfect for the back up type role)

Are you crazy? Why on earth would you move Mata out of middle? Have you watched him play at all?

If Taylor Twellman says that Schurrle isnt better than KDB, then it is obviously true.... Though I agree. Not sure that Schurrle is better than KDB. Whats more important is I think KDB can play more positions. Schurrle is best on the left wing, which is Hazards and only Hazards. KDB can play left and right wing, plus can play anywhere in the center. Seems like a pretty easy decision.

Lukaku looking like a threat. His touch has improved a lot. KDB looks a bit off. Good ideas but his passes are a bit off. His pass did lead to the goal though.

Though I agree with you somewhat, I would would counter with this point. Man u and City dont have Mata, Oscar, and Hazard. We solidify our D and grab a defensive mid, I woupd woupd be fine with Ba, Torres, and Lukaku. (especially woth the three amigos behind them)

This better not happen. He is the heart and soul of Chelsea at the moment. He screams Chelsea and everyone in the country sees him as the next captain. Would be a massive mistake and I woupd lose some respect for Jose if it did happen.

Rooney would not be an upgrade at all. Just a waste of money. He is passed his best days and we have Lukaku who is only getting better with games. No point in ruining that with shrek.
