  1. Tone, that was one of the most incredible feats I've ever witnessed in the FA Cup, maybe Football in general. We were dogsh*t but for you to come to ours and win 4-2 having been 2-0 is truly remarkable. Hope you and your fans had a great night!
  2. Ffs sick of this audio-only rubbish for us in the cup lately. I guess that's my comeuppance for selling my ticket.
  3. I want to win this competition. A lot. Would like to see the same team as Saturday, perhaps with Courtois coming in. We can then rest players for Bradford. Come on Chels!
  4. Every time I watch Lukaku I understand more and more why Jose was so reluctant to endorse him. Sure, he can finish, but his general link up play is consistently poor; the game often seems to move too quickly for him and so often his touch lets him down. Of course Lukaku is young, and Drogba was also very cumbersome with the ball in his early days at Chelsea, but I just don't see a top class striker in Lukaku.
  5. I have a feeling it may well end in a draw. Man City really cannot afford to lose it, whilst Jose will not want to leave any space at the back for City to exploit. I'd like us to really try and extend our lead at the top, especially given how vulnerable City look at the moment. But knowing Jose and how pragmatic he can be it wouldn't surprise me if he's more intent on preventing City from winning than trying to increase the pressure on them.
  6. Hi guys, Not sure if posting in the right place but I am out of the country this weekend and would really like to stream MOTD live if possible. Does anyone know of any good sites where I can watch a reliable stream of decent quality? Thanks!
  7. I quite like it all in all. I just don't like singing things like 'when we win the league' if you know what I mean.
  8. United still have a lot of rebuilding to do IMO. I don't rate any of their Centre Halves except Rojo and they need some better quality out wide. I look at their team/squad and I just don't see any rationale at all in how Van Gaal has built it. It seems like they've just tried to buy anyone that is half decent, resulting in an imbalanced squad and team in which Rooney and Mata are often played out of position in midfield.
  9. What a brilliant performance by Southampton. I'm still skeptical as to whether they will make the top 4 but I'm sure they will be very, very close indeed at the least. 7 points from Chelsea, Arsenal and United in the last 3 or so weeks. I think it's time to start taking Southampton seriously.
  10. 'How does it feel to be Arsenal? How does it feel to be small? We've got Fabregas, You've got Jimmy Saville, Jimmy Saville, Jimmy Saville…'
  11. I heard a monstrosity of a chant sung by 'yoof' at the AFC Wimbledon pre-season game. It was so bad on so many levels I'd rather not share it!
  12. Rumours that Borussia Moenchengladbach may even sign him in January. I really hope not, I'd like to see him loaned out to the PL next year and see how he does.
  13. I still have faith in Schürrle. He's had a largely poor season thus far but he is one of our very best finishers and can make excellent, incisive runs off the wing into space when playing against a high defensive line. Clearly the illness has had a huge impact and hopefully he recovers from it sooner rather than later as he seems to be playing with next to no focus at the moment. Bulking up can only be a good thing for him too though I can't say I've seen him knocked off the ball too much. I think André's fighting for his Chelsea future for the next 5 months. If he doesn't perform, or at least show some flashes of the ability he showed last year, then his time might be up. Same for Salah who's on a much shorter leash IMO.
  14. Good point about Ivanovic. I'm quite worried about the right side of our defence, we've looked so vulnerable there all season whilst the left side seems almost impregnable at times.
  15. If Drogs retires I would happily have Dzeko here as our back up to Costa. Kinkladze1871 what are your thoughts on Bony? He and Aguero up front? Dzeko and Jovetic in particular can't be happy.
  16. Would make a lot of sense for United, he'd fit in perfectly for them either as a conventional RB or as a RWB in a 3-5-2. Better than Rafael too IMO: RE: Messi - I just can't see how Messi would be financially viable from an FFP-perspective, unless we amortise the astronomical transfer fee over a 7 year contract or something silly. I'm personally of the opinion that Messi is approaching the tail end of his career and that it would be an enormous risk to sign him. I highly doubt there's anything in the rumour but would rather not even entertain the thought of it.
  17. ^This. When we are 'parking the bus', Cahill is excellent. But we are trying to play a higher line this season given that we want to take the initiative in games more often than not. As a result, we need a centre-half next to JT who is better on the ball and has some pace. Varane would be ideal and from what I can tell also a plausible target in many ways.
  18. If it was at Vicarage Road I'm sure it would be on TV.
  19. Where can I find a stream for the game today?
  20. Feel sorry for the guy on a professional level, but on a personal level don't give a t*ss. The amount of support that guy received from us at every single game was completely unparalleled in Chelsea's modern history. And did he ever reciprocate? Did he F***.
