Chelsea v Newcastle Upon-Tyne United (LC) Tuesday 19th December 2023 20:00 GMT
One of the most deluded fanbases in world football. You’re only a big club in your own heads/city.

Chelsea v Newcastle Upon-Tyne United (LC) Tuesday 19th December 2023 20:00 GMT
Just came on here to say the same. It wasn’t just him. Shay ‘impartial’ given was talking on similar theme while moaning about injuries Newcastle have, completely ignoring the well renowned issues chelsea have had from day one. there seemed to be little acknowledgement that Newcastle didn’t create one single chance, scoring from a far worse bunch of mistakes than Trippier’s. Why is it chelsea rarely have an ex player on tv covering their games who have actual understanding of what’s going at the club while other clubs always do? i’m still incredulous that Redknapp chose to slag off Mudryk while talking over his goal. Yeah we know he’s not finished article but this was a high point for him. Why not reflect on that?

One thing is for sure, we should be ready for a tough game on dec 30.

Not enough added time clearly…wonder if Arteta will moan about the officials 😐

Were you talking about the team or the posters on this site?

What’s the ministry of propaganda’s explanation now?
Four pl games in, might as well throw in the towel. the Forest result has really had a big impact it seems. The wounds of last season are still fresh so patience is at a premium. I get it. But think we should wait a few months before writing this season off and thinking we’re fcuked.

I think one of the problems though is there is still such a hangover from how bad last season was that all the doom and gloom is being carried into this one from the getgo. Pochettino has had four PL games. It’s too early to be fearing the worst IMO. It’s not as if Forest played chelsea off the park, creating chance after chance. That should have been a game we either nick 1-0 or draw 0-0. Sloppy play gifted them a winner and meant their gameplan was even more negative after that.

Lots of comparisons with arsenal going on here…you guys did notice it took them several years to get back here right? Arteta finished eighth twice in a row, then fifth before last season’s title challenge. yes we’ve spent a sh*tload but think fans need to accept we’re not going to be back to being chelsea of old in five minutes.

Am I the only one who doesn’t rate/like peter drury as a commentator? Just tries too hard/all very contrived when a team scores. Like he wants to be part of a viral clip or something every time. Just changes lines whoever scores. I find it all very cringe and have done for a very long time. I miss the guys from the past, who were there to assist the telling of the story, not wanting to be front and centre of the story.

The Nkunku effect.

Chelsea v Forest (PL) Sat 2nd Sep 2023 15:00 GMT
People underestimating/forgetting impact of Nkunku’s injury. Do think poch needs to abandon the Chilwell left wing with Colwill as left back experiment. It worked on the whole against Liverpool but not since then. Need a proper attacking player there with Chilwell at left back, Colwill as a cb.

Chelsea v Forest (PL) Sat 2nd Sep 2023 15:00 GMT
It was crap but let’s not all fall on our swords over the season just yet…it’s been four PL games…what’s annoying is we no longer have a knack of getting results we deserve let alone better than we deserve like we did in the past. yes chelsea shouldn’t be losing at home to Forest but surprised people think we’d be finished article with this squad after five minutes as well.

Never like seeing Liverpool win but it’s good to see Newcastle taken down a peg. Same goes for Brighton on Saturday. Fans of both clubs have been talking too much sh*te.

Arsenal have the knack we used to have of winning games while being meh. Even when we play well we lose these days.

West Ham v Chelsea (PL) Sun 20th Aug 2023 16:30 GMT
New season same old sh*t. That’s two wins we’ve blown. Has any team lost more games they should have drawn/won, drawn games they should have won in recent years than us?

West Ham v Chelsea (PL) Sun 20th Aug 2023 16:30 GMT
It’s a shame England women didn’t win the World Cup and all that, but have to be honest…this is the game I want to see a win in most anyway. Come on you blues

I don’t know what ten hag is doing with him. Seems to only be employed as a defensive midfield workhorse to run after opposition players, not getting the ball, so can’t get in the game.

Two games played and Man Utd look bang average. Flattered to have 3 points.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2023/24
I hope chelsea are playing for a community shield again one day because it should mean we’ve won a trophy. What I also hope for is that we don’t celebrate/go ott if we get a late sponny equaliser and win it on penalties. it’s just a glorified friendly.

2023/24 PL Fixtures
Always one of the most bizarre days of the year…league announce Club has to play 38 games in a certain order, funny that. media go nuts…eg just made the mistake of putting talksport on…like sky, they’re talking as if pl has not been around for ages….last round of games was just over two weeks ago 🤯

Stats can be misleading…inter only started to attack with any intent after falling behind. They had enough chances to equalise from then on but I don’t have that much sympathy for them. Understand why they’d set out to frustrate City to begin with but they were so negative up until Rodri scored…in last 20 mins they showed citeh aren’t all that but they should have done more a lot earlier
