Liverpool
Wouldn't surprise me at all - our defence is virtually non-existence. I'm listening on 5Live, and have got the pleasure of having Chris Waddle voicing his opinions - the brain-dead geordie c*nt!

1-0 down already I've got really bad vibes about this game - just hope Cech makes it through OK

Johnno nicks a toilet seat
I expect it was a bit of a cheeky prank that went wrong - bet he feels like a bit of an arse now.

Brit awards 2007
I'd put it on a par with Sports Personality Of The Year - total waste of time, and just an excuse to dish out awards to overpaid w*nkers

UEFA Team of the year 2006
The only reason Ronaldo is in such 'good form' is that defenders know that if they get within five yards of him, he'll go down like a shot deer. It's quite easy to run past defenders when you know they're not going to even attempt to challenge you. I'd rate him if he didn't dive so much, but he's the second worst cheat in the game, just behind Deco. What is it with the Portugeuse? I've just got up and want a smoke, which may be making me a bit grumpy

Johnno nicks a toilet seat
More worrying is the question "what was Glen Johnson doing shopping for a toilet seat with Ben May????"

Anybody surprised by Cech?
I'm not sure why we let Lenny Pidgeley go. He wasn't at all bad for his age, and I'd certainly have been more confident with him in goal than Hilario. And Rhys Evans wasn't bad either, but he left 2 or 3 years ago without ever making the 1st team. Seems the way we've done things at Chelsea for quite a while now - bring youngsters through years of preparation, then flog them to the lower league teams before they even get a chance to prove themselves. I'm wondering if the same is gonna happen with the likes of Mancienne, Smith, Sinclair, etc.....

I might be wrong, but I think you were only allowed one sub in those days. Team against Wednesday: - Eddie Niedzwiecki Joey Jones Doug Rougvie Colin Lee (Paul Canoville) Joe McLaughlin Dale Jasper Pat Nevin Nigel Spackman Kerry Dixon David Speedie Mickey Thomas Looking at that line-up, I'm assuming that Jasper started the game in midfield, and when Colin Lee went off to make way for Canoville at half-time, Jasper went into defence - my memory ain't that great though! That was some side though, wasn't it! 8)

The most disappointing Chelsea XI of all time...
1984/85 League Cup 5th.Round - 30 January 1985. It was Paul Canoville who came off the bench in that game, Loz - and he certainly did change the game, scoring two goals and scaring the crap out of the Wednesday defence. Dale Jasper played the whole game. As the song goes - "3-0 down, 4-3 up, then Doug Rougvie f*cked it up" I also thought it was unfair that Dale Jasper was singled out for the blame in the Sunderland game - the ref was dodgy to say the least. Jasper wasn't the best player around, but he was far from the worst.

Sinclair gone on loan to Plymouth Argyle
I think there's this boy Andriy who looks promising... No thanks I'd rather stick to the forwards we have got ( Hayles,Gallen,Ebanks Blake,Samba and Sinclair ) and they are a lot less famous than him. Honestly apart from Sinclair do you know any of the names in that list Didn't Cherno Samba start his career at Millwall? Barry Hayles was at Fulham, amongst others, and is Gallen the same one that was at QPR? What is Ebanks-Blake like? He was sh*t-hot in my game of FM2007 when I guided Argyle to the EPL and the League Cup Final in my first season - never mind Holloway, sign me up! Are Chadwick and Connolly still at Argyle? I haven't been to Home Park since going to watch Chelsea there in the 70's, but I might get to see Sinclair in action towards the end of the season - I always go down to Cornwall to visit my family in the spring. Won't be too much hardship to take a trip to Plymouth from the Camelford/Bodmin area

sebastian deisler retires
Very sad, he was a promising player - such a waste to have his career finished at the age of 27

Paulo Ferreira - a Chappie or a Sharon Wood
The vote is obviously going to go your way, for one of two reasons: - 1) As the Admin type person, you can easily fix the vote. On the question of trustworthiness I'd rate you up there with Blatter 2) Everyone's voting with you to keep on your good side, that's always assuming you've got one I voted for Chappie, its my honest opinion. I've always rated him and still do, and am really baffled as to how some people have such different views of him. Thats football i spose True - I still remember the debates about JFH, and more recently, Drogs

Reminds me a bit of the first gig I ever went to, Christmas 1973, Rod Stewart & The Faces at Sutton Granada. Great concert, half-pissed with all me mates, got off with some bird from the Epsom area - happy days Then as we left, it all kicked off outside between Chelsea and Palace fans for some reason - not the wisest place to have a row, Sutton nick was dead opposite!

I remember there was one track of theirs that I quite liked, but I'll be buggered if I can remember which one it was. Maybe Loz will know, he couldn't believe I finally found a track I liked F*ck it, just been playing The Singles album to try and jog my memory, and found I like 'Sheila Take A Bow' - and that wasn't the one I liked before - what's happening to me Next thing you know, I'll be praising JFH and Ferreira - think I'll get myself committed before it's too late It wasn't 'I Started Something I Couldn't Finish' was it - that sounds OK too - NURSE!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Maurice seemed to be the only one with his feet on the ground. I really felt sorry for him on that Clive Anderson show, he looked so embarrassed. Seems we liked the same Bee Gees stuff - 'Massachusetts', 'Words', 'I've Gotta Get A Message To You' and 'First Of May', etc...... I couldn't stand their disco stuff, and to this day I've never watched Saturday Night Fever.

I don't know what it is you're drinking, BJD, but I could surely do with a few pints of it!
