what does it actually take to not play malouda? how did he possibly play 90 mins vs united? does he have to stand still and kick the ball out every time the ball comes near him for AVB to sub him off?

booooooring. surely we wont get rid of malouda, kalou, benayoun without confidence or even assurance that there are replacements coming through. dont mind seeing any of them go, long as they are replaced by someone better. not really keen on alex going.

man kalou was bad.....doesnt deserve another start in the short term. malouda was also pretty rubbish. ramires looked like he could create some spark, but it seemed like him and torres were the only ones really trying to do things like that. bosingwa is a bit 50/50, he adds some excitement and a good change of pace but then plays stupid balls and goes for too much. rly hoping josh and yossi get some more chances, and sturridge when hes back. these are the players we need on the pitch - hopefully with torres in the same mood he was vs stoke

malouda is such an enigma - top scorer in the epl at the beginning of last season but i could never tell why. he doesnt have the touch or control of robben or duff, he just confuses me, i can never really see amazing quality or skills but for some reason i want him in the team and playing well.
