Seb Coe please buy out Roman Abromovitch
I continue to read all these posts about Gourlay, Buck, the proposed anti Benetiz banners etc etc etc The pathetic 'match forum' which shows the faith in our team. The one man who caused all this shambles, is not condemned because the trophies make the glory hunters happy. Nobody dare not look at the damage Roman has done, I am going to re christen him Rimmell MAKE UP it masks so many wrinkles.

No Zeta it was a suggestion Jose should have been given more time. All this Roman worshipping is doing my head in, he has done as much bad as good in his reign and let's face it LOVES BENETIZ - how he is still in a job is beyond me, Roman really hates us don't he ?

Has anyone thought how much we wouldn't have achieved under Roman if Jose had not signed Drogba, after an indifferent start Drogba became a Chelsea legend and indeed the man responsible for so many crucial goals in Cup Finals not forgetting the way he defended set pieces late on in games and ran the ball to corner flags for the last 5 minutes of games ! Had Drogba been a Manager Roman would have sacked him !

I agree Roman has been badly advised but as a shrewd guy with plenty of clout in the right places his first move should have been to recruit Colin Hutchinson from the Ken Bates fold. Kenyon was a mistake from the outset and from the moment Jose wasn't given the reigns to control the football side of things his in my eyes was always thinking 'I am the boss and nobody else' I am Mr Chelsea and as the song goes 'f**k all the Rest' Saying that he has delivered and nobody can deny it - at what cost to Chelsea fans is the debatable thing -

I remember clearly the day Ken Bates waltzed into Chelsea. I'd spent two seasons home and away and pre-season going to every game. When Clive Walker scored up at Bolton I had a feeling things were going about to change. But not in the way I imagined. Not in the same way as Roman money wise but with the same idealistic mind he dismantled 'my team' and brought in Dixon, Spackman and Co. I vowed not to go that summer to the first game of the season, but there I was against Derby because of my love of one thing Chelsea Football Club. Bates as we all know from back then went guns blazing to kick out the hooligan element and the electric fences were only a spark of what really went on. Bates though fought tooth and nail to keep Stamford Bridge away from the developers and in all honesty gave us a ride of a lifetime with highs and lows of all proportions, but crucially the fans bought into it and it brought us all together as one. He lost it when Matty Harding came on the scene. The fans immediately took to him, with good reason I hasten to add. Nobody can say what would have happened had that terrible tradegy not happened but one thing strikes me that after all Ken did for us, nobody can tell me that promotion season in 83-84, the Gullit years, Zola, Di Matteo, Vialli period and winning the FA Cup in 1997 wasn't up there with everything we achieved under Roman ( feeling and emotionally wise ) until we finally won the Champions League! The fact is Ken had come to the end of the line, he needed someone to come in and take us that one stage further, Matty wasn't in his mind years before but Roman clearly was. Take it from me if Matty was around today and had the money to buy out Roman - thousands of the Chelsea fans that are so grateful for what he has done would be happy. For all the trophies, lets not forget what Stamford Bridge has become. A corporate plaything - a large proportion of plastic fans ( Yes the FSW was right in some cases ) and only recently the battles that Ken fought to give Chelsea fans our pitch were under minded ( allegedly ) by a corrupt plan to buy shares to force a vote that the majority failed to agree with. I still fail to understand why he failed to back Jose in the window when Michael Essien and Paulo Ferreira were playing Centre Half, I still fail to understand why he was sacked and not given the chance to achieve everything Red Nose did at Manure. A lot of judgements were clouded when we won the Champions League, so many near misses, the euphoria took over. I cannot believe any Chelsea fan is happy in what HE did in sacking RDM and what has resulted - it clearly was not for the fans it was for his own satisfaction. Nobody is bigger than Chelsea Football Club but to many Roman has just become that. All the popular people that stand in his way are casted aside but success to some people is a good enough thing to wipe it under the carpet. To me it is subconscious 'Glory Hunting' of the highest order.

César 'Dave' Azpilicueta
One bright spark in our season, adapted to the Premiership quickly and will only improve next season. Great engine and deserved call up to Spain squad today. Superb away song as well - Chelsea's No 2 !!!

Chippy, well put. As someone who was as sceptical about Roman as Ken Bates from the outset the bottom line has to be to please us the fans. He wants to please one person - himself. He has not just made one mistake - Jose Mourinho replaced by Avram Grant was the biggest for we would have surely won the European Cup that year had he stayed. He has picked and choosed his players and managers like a 'play thing' from Shevchenko to Torres who both Managers had no choice. Yes he gave us all the best football moment in our lives but so did RDM. Maybe it was too much for him, like Jose, RDM was too popular with the fans.

I feel with Chelsea fans at an all time low and our reputation within the game nowhere near the elite clubs in Europe we need a positive change at the very top. For me Roman though giving us the most magical times as a Chelsea fan could dream of has achieved all he can at the club and will never have the respect of the majority after sacking RDM and appointing Benetiz. Seb first and foremost is a lifelong Chelsea fan. Respected around the world and indeed a Sir in every way. His passion for sport shone through at the Olympics and is so committed to giving the youth's of this world a chance. He isn't short of a few quid and surely has the contacts in Chelsea and Sport circles to get a consortium together. He has the business nouse to get our house in order and within fair play rules and to get our academy working properly to get young players through the system like John Terry. Above all he will have us fans at heart and respect our feelings 100 per cent and the confidence to appoint someone like Jose Mourinho to control football matters unconditionally and build a real Chelsea dynasty.

Redknapp again
Personally I have a lot of time for Jamie as a person and as a pundit. He is spot on. I hate to say it but I feel Liverpool and Spurs under ex Chelsea coaches are building better squads than ourselves. A season that started with so much promise and optimism has turned into a nightmare. Roman and the board are to blame as well as management who control loan deals. So short with the African Nations and not realised in the summer when negotiating loan deals - absolute madness. I want Roman out and the board - I want my Chelsea back - I want an owner with a long term plan and one prepared to let the Manager manage and give youth a real chance. That manager is Jose Mourinho, the owner well that is for the gods to decide.

Coco, this is an orchestrated gamble this time. Bookies do it with horses all the time and there is so little money in football betting on player and manager movements a tenner can move markets. However yesterday's gamble was different, not a plunge from comments or interviews from sky sports but people opening betting accounts just to place this bet, it is very unusual. I still would have Jose favourite, with Moyes second fav and Poyet third.

Last few days, Who we getting in..
Willian off to Russia and Buckland to Stoke, think it is a good idea we don't give Benetiz cash to spend anyway !

Are you a ‘True Blue’?
You have to put up with all the sh*te Chelsea Football Club throw at you as a fan. I must admit I am feeling a bit like the fans who stopped going to the Bridge for various reasons over the years but remain Chels to the core. Above all you have to accept the club treats it's fans with contempt and an utter lack of respect.

Fellaini
We need height in defensive as well as attacking situations. We have a lack of presence in our side, we miss Drogba for in defensive situations and running the ball to the corner flag to see out games he was different class. We made a move for Fellani but the problem was it was two days after his clause could be activated. Another bungling effort from the board.

Worst season in a long time?
I think Roman and the board are to blame here and it is time for them all to go. Once we get all the loan players back next season we can dust ourselves down and look at our academy and think to the future. I think they got carried away with our Champions League win and never appreciated or gave enough credit to the job RDM did. Quite who comes in is worth debating but I am sure there will be plenty of takers. The whole Benetiz thing has broken the chain of love and respect which Roman had with Chelsea fans. Sacking Jose was one thing but RDM was unforgivable to the majority of Chelsea fans. You don't bite the hands that feed you - the board has crossed that line.

Time to Print LARGE banners
Whilst Benetiz, Torres and I will add Beneyoun to the Liverpool plants to ruin our club - stay our club will go into freefall. Tonight was a disgrace, once again all Turnbull did was pick the ball out of the net and Benetiz failed to make substitutions and player choices that would have seen RDM ease past inferior opposition. Roman and the board have f**ked up the club since we won the Champions League and to be honest I have had enough. Roman needs to sell up. He has got what he wanted and has no plan to introduce the stability we desperately needed. Robbie should have been given time, he delivered the one thing Roman wanted. By continuing to back Benetiz it will cost us a place in the Champions League. I see us coming 5th without a shade of doubt in my mind. We have mis-managed our players put out on loan, not done enough to keep experience to blend in with the youth and have management and this includes Holland through to Gourlay, Buck and Roman who simply have to go for the good of Chelsea Football Club. Nobody knows what they are really doing and Roman swings axes like Ian Botham swung the ball in his prime. Gourlay and Buck are 'Yes men' who know f**k all about football - for all Roman's interfering he has had no real direction from below. Gourlay's ugly mug when things when slightly wrong under RDM said it all - a look of disgust that has not appeared even in the worst run of the Roman era under Benetiz. All the board and Roman are licking the Spanish Waiters arse and really taking the piss out of real Chelsea fans who have had enough. I have not been to a game since I said I would not go until the scoucers leave and I am not the only one ! The fans should act - banners - singing - shouting - Benetiz and the board should go !!! To the tune of you'll never walk alone .... Sell Up .. Sell up .. Roman Roman if you have a heart ... You'll never mess again ... Mess again f**k off - scouse c**ts - scouse c**ts - you'll never be Chelsea Chelsea

Agreed should never have kissed the badge or even thought about a Gordon Durie type move across London, not for me but rumours and money are very strong. Looks like Jose, Moyes or Gus to me and forget the others .
