I understand that people feel that Torres should be scoring goals (which yes he should). But for god sake give the man a break! When credit is due, Torres just like any other player should receive it. At the end of the day, Torres was the best player on the pitch. Whether he is being paid 30,000 or 175,000, he played very well and deserved his man of the match award. I've seen plenty of games were players have come on the pitch and scored a fluke goal and won man of the match. I'd rather a player who worked his butt off and impacted the game, throughout get the motm than someone who got a tap in for being lucky.

Torres. Every game he seems to be improving, and he is also helping the team. Apart from not scoring, he done nothing wrong. I honestly feel sorry for him. I dont think it's a question of form anymore, or confidence. A player which wasnt confident wouldnt attempt what he attempted. Also his positioning looks tons better. Next step... A goal.

As much as I think avb is a complete w**ker and made tons and tons of bad mistakes , its not all his fault. We played badly last year for ancelotti and we sacked him, but nothings changed apart from a few players it's the exact same team. If we focused more of changing our players than changing our manager, the situation would be a lot f**king better
