An Open Letter To Roman Abramovich
That's what I think as well, I was joking but I would like to see Zola in the job in 10 years time or something.

An Open Letter To Roman Abramovich
Tell him to get Zola in

Hates the Crown - Loves the halfcrown
An old thread but anyway..unless you grew up in the whirlwind that is N.Ireland it is a bit hard to understand. Many things are misrepresented, an obvious example is the Ireland flag, the flag actually stands for peace between catholics and protestants and don't get me started on the red hand of Ulster. Unionists would never wear a shamrock on st patricks day like irish do but that actually symbolises Christianity coming to Ireland and they are 'Christian' after all.

Our Youth on Loan
I was at the Watford game today and thought Nathaniel Chalobah played well, Watford are very pleasing to watch under Zola, the fans love him.

Eden v Ballboy
In most other countries this incident would barely make the newspapers

Brentford v Chelsea (FA Cup) 27/01/13 KO 12:00 GMT
In my opinion players like Mata shouldn't be needing breaks, he's only 25 and i'm sure he gets paid enough for it.

Swansea v Chelsea (COC SF 2nd Leg) 23/01/13 19:45 GMT
As Ray Wilkins said 'If Hazard had have tried as hard to get the ball during the game Chelsea wouldn't have lost'

Swansea v Chelsea (COC SF 2nd Leg) 23/01/13 19:45 GMT
the ball boy greatly exaggerated it but still Hazard is meant to be the professional

Grown men in football shirts
I haven't bought a replica shirt since the 2008-09 yellow away when I was 16. I had most shirts from 2000-08 but I sold a lot of them. I only wear one nowadays in the gym sometimes. there's a man city fan in my uni course who wears one every day under his jacket.

The headhunters?
That could be a lot of clubs then. Some of them are hypocrites in my opinion, some of them protest about Irish people supporting 'the queens teams' yet a lot of them don't like the GAA which is actual home grown sport, a lot of their national team players are English and most of them support Celtic, another British team.

The headhunters?
would like to hear some stories of that as well. Also, which teams hooligans were involved in the ireland v england friendly in 1995? I don't particularly support the ireland national team as the fans are hypocrites and players are 'plastic paddies' but would be interesting to know?

Man City away ticket
thanks, it'll probably depend on the price, it'll either be man city or else the man united game in may, could you help me with that game?

Man City away ticket
I wouldn't have a chance then, I might buy a membership to try and get away tickets for the smaller teams next season. do away league games still be in the £50+ range?
-
Man City away ticket
I currently live in Manchester and was wondering if it's worth buying a membership to try get a ticket or will they be all bought by season ticket holders? I usually buy general sale so never had a membership

Hello from Ireland
welcome, which part of ireland do you live?

Chelsea FC - How did it start for you?
I started supporting Chelsea for as long as I've been into sports, 2000 aged 8. My first shirt was this http://www.vintagefootballshirts.com/images/zoom/che00as_z.jpg with Zola on the back which I still have. I live in Ireland so most people were Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal fans and I only knew about 2 other Chelsea fans in my area, my brother supports Man United and my uncle is a big Arsenal fan. You could argue I was a Man United fan when I was 5 when my sister brought me home a David Beckham autograph photo from Old Trafford in 1997 but I didn't watch their games or anything, I still like Beckham though. Gaelic Football is the most popular sport where I live and I travelled around the country going to games for 10 years as I always believe you should follow your local sport as well. I've been to Stamford Bridge a few times over the past 6 years and I hope to go to a Europa League or FA Cup game this season, I love the stadium, it has so much character unlike places like The Emirates. My favourite players are Zola, Hasselbaink, Gudjohnson, J.Cole, Duff, Lampard, Drogba and David Luiz.

The headhunters?
i'm just glad jason marriner is banned from grounds for 6 years i think but i think the main people who fought at that cardiff game 2 years ago should be banned for life, its obvious if opposing fans provoked them again they would do the exact same.

The headhunters?
What's your view on the chelsea headhunters? I watched the donal macintyre documentary yesterday and was shocked at some of the stories about some of them visiting auschwitz and sending a jew a postcard, it showed them doing the nazi salute in a pub in denmark in 1998 and with a northern ireland flag chanting 'UVF' at a parade to commorate bloody sunday but it was shocking that it was the late 90s when chelsea had so many foreigners playing for them, What was worse was in an episode of 'the real football factories' it showed jason marriner (i think) outside stamford bridge and young fans getting his autograph like he was some sort of hero. I think how donal macintyre and his wife were attacked recently in a bar shows what these men are like especially how he even told them that his wife had a brain tumor, even a female was joining in. I know most don't pay any attention to the hooligans these days and it's good to see irish supporters club banners at the bridge recently but it is shocking that some people, even someone i could be sitting beside in the next game i go to could have been involved in this racism and could still share their views,

Playing Celtic in the summer
I noticed that we are playing Celtic this summer again in USA and I wondered what the deal was with Chelsea and Celtic fans and the Rangers relationship. I'm a fan from N.Ireland but I'm a nationalist so obviously consider myself Irish, here people either support Rangers or Celtic depending on their political views and I hate it as don't think politics has any room in sport. I was shocked at Chelsea fans comments under youtube videos of Chelsea and Celtic playing, what does politics in Ireland have to do with a minority of fans who are most likely English? I'm 20 years old so I grew up watching players like Zola, Hasselbaink and Wise and never even realised the Rangers link until I got older. I've been to Stamford Bridge 4 times and have seen alot of irish Chelsea flags hung up on the west stand so Chelsea have alot of Irish fans. Can anyone tell me what the link with Rangers is about?

Bags in stadium?
I'm going to the birmingham game tomorrow and have a 5 hour coach journey to get to London, these are mind numbingly boring and was thinking of doing uni work on the coach to do something useful but are you allowed a back pack into the ground?

ticket for game on saturday
I think I figured it out, it says under terms and conditions that you have to enter the postcode exactly as it is in your card statement, i live in university accommodation and so my postcode is different, the only thing i can think of is waiting until thursday or friday to buy as they can't post them out and they have to be collected at the ticket office I think, will that make a difference or will they still require the postcode? If I still can't buy online do you think the ticket office will have tickets on saturday morning?
