Mohammed Kudus
Madueke to me is much more pure player in every meaning of the word. If he actually wants to leave fine, but personally I'd stick with him than replace him with Kudus. We just bought Pedro who is similar type of versatile player. Not sure about this but if Noni wants to leave we need to replace him with someone.

Another Winger! - Noni Madueke
I thought of that while writing. Sort of a fantasy type situation 😅

Another Winger! - Noni Madueke
We bought him for 35m Euros. Hopefully we can get around 50m Sterling if we are to sell him. Good piece of business if so.

Another Winger! - Noni Madueke
Not sure it was directed straight to Noni but Enzo's words were really strong there. I would rather see him staying but if he wants to go to Arsenal then go.

Mate you need to learn to read the text. If my english is unclear I apologise, not my native language. It is the 1-2% they have earned or taken re Jose and Pep. Otherwise they eat the food the club gives them. I am 100% sure Jose and Pep never and not one coach has ever spoken the ultimate truth in pressers..maybe Conte (Spurs) a couple of times, maybe Jose (MU) but that was when they knew they were probably facing the sack. Football coach is not an authoritan leader nor speak their mind 100% in a presser because why the hell would you. Team and its managers is a very complex system and involves around 100 people. I still say Enzo's been very consistent with the story he's told. I have absolutely no problems with them nor do I find him to be a liar or bullsh*t artist nor a politician. Not in the slightest. Again lapdog is your assesment and you can keep it no problem but again mate, loose a bit of the black and white. There are other colors in the spectrum especially when there are people involved. On Chalobah. So you think Enzo or any coach is a an authoritan leader? Like North Korea? They have large teams. I really really hope they talk and have different views on players. Enzo has the ultimate responsibility so he needs to choose wisely all the time. He takes all the heat if he decides to listen to Robertson for example. This is also something experience will bring. You start to know who to trust and what to do in every situation. Enzo is very inexperienced. On Petrovic. That was decided before we started the competitive season. At that very point Petrovic looked and was 100% more uneasy with the ball distributing. Sanchez is not that bad in it but he has these amazing brainfarts which makes it intolerable to watch. Sanchez knows how to look calm with the ball. If you look at Hermansen at Leicester you see he is similar with the ball in his feet. Petrovic loves to be around the goal itself rather than get involved in the play. Enzo loves a keeper that can get involved in the buildup. Neither to me are probably good enough for the job but I personally rate Petrovic higher overall from the two. Hopefully we find a good solution for this season. On Santos. I am not with Santos every day so I can't say but I think a humiliating start for him in an important game could hurt him. Remember what happened with Caicedo at first in Chesea. Rocky start to say the least. I would love him to play but I also understand why he is not started. On media. I have no problem with his pressers nor do I think he is inconsistent or anything really you have said on him. I guess when you detest or hate him you see the negative side on that as well.

Pep and Jose are in the position of saying so and both are a bit old school. Not the way this club wants to operate. At least all the communication suggests this. Lap dog. That is your assumption. If he talks the sh*te with (inside) the club and doesn't bring it to media is probably pretty good way to go. This could suggest his line of communication with the club is good - your assumption is he is a lap dog. I see Enzo being a team player and assertive from the time he's been here. On Chalobah: every article I read and found on that says the club sees Chalobah is not fit for Marescas system. I haven't found one thing that says Enzo saying that. He had host of defenders to choose from and Trevoh was not the best fit according to the club. Chalobah then himself have performed very well under Maresca's coaching. Hats off to Trevoh...by the club I suggest means directors, Enzo and his coaching staff. I hope they all work together and converse these things together. On Sanchez case he is in a bit of a hole. Sanchez is a massive liability as we all know which Enzo knows as well but his only other choice is young Jorgensen. When Jorgensen had his chance he wasn't performing any better. Sanchez still was the safer bet. Now here I think there could be some tension between Enzo and Roberts or they have decided to give the say on keepers to Roberts. I am 100% sure Enzo is not completely satisified with Sanchez but why on earth would he say that to the media or the fans. His job is to make improve players he has not make them worse. Even now Enzo has said in the media he is very satisfied with the keepers he has but we are still looking at keepers as the reports have shown. Again he doesn't need to communicate possible tensions inside the club to outside. On Petrovic. At the time the decision was made to send out Petrovic he was probably not on a good level to play from the back so that is why they opted on Sanchez. I think they might have made a mistake there but again it was probably at least 50-50. And if Roberts have backed Sanchez,m Enzo listened to his word. BUT if Petrovic comes back to Prem to another club we will see whether he is the ball playing keeper he was at Strasbourg. And I like Petrovic very much. I personally think we should make him our number 1 keeper and get rid of Sanchez. On Santos. First of all he is 20 and playing the same position Maresca himself played so I am sure he wants to protect and make sure he succeeds. Midfield position is much more crucial and displays the errors much more clear than attacking positions so if he just threw in Andrey he might risk him losing his confidence. I am sure Enzo loves to have such a brilliant talent in him. This coming game we'll see whether Santos gets a chance. I doubt it though. Lavia and Caicedo are out of the game. Again on what Enzo says: he says things to media, to fans, speaks his own ideas, the clubs ideas and his main thing is to present the club in the best possible way in these pressers. It is very tricky sometimes but I think he's done a very good job in that.

I think the young squad needs a ton of structure as opposed to very experienced ones. Good to see how Alonso fares in Real after Carlo and players like Modric and Kroos leaving among with other experienced ones. I am sure he is giving much more structure and guidance than Carlo ever did. Alonso is also very inexperienced as a top level coach.

Our football being boring is subjective. I am not a fan of it but I feel we are heading towards a more balanced style. I'll give to Enzo and the squad to work that out. Jose and Pep are not notorious in that. Maybe in media. I'd say they do 99% of what the club wants them to but have balls to contradict when see fit. Enzo is first year coach and clearly has good repour with the club but I am sure he will be tested whether he has those balls at some point. Remains to be seen. Pretty early days. Enzo is the primary outlet from the club. He speaks in the words of the club basically. He is in meetings with the directors and head of press. He is also coached by our media reps to steer clear of certain subjects if needed. I feel he is also a pretty smart guy so he knows what to say and how. I don't see him contradicting himself. I think he is pretty consistent with the story.

Let's flirt with the idea of a coach who doesn't do what his employer wants him to do or what you have promised to do when signing on the club. Let's think about this in the context of your own life. How do you go on about in your job with these set of rules... Now let's get back to the coach: Thomas Tuchel. Is he here? No. Some people do the old escapism thing with football and hope their coach or player wants to rebel against the superiors because they don't dare do it in their own life nor see it even a good thing to go. Jose, Pep, Carlo and most of the coaches play inside the reality of the set club. As does Enzo. He is merely the coach. He has applauded a million times he loves the squad and the quality of it. If you choose not to believe his word it is up to you.

Not sure you guys fully appreciate what coach does in a team. While inexperienced at top level I am pretty sure he knows if Santos can do a job or elevate the team watching him in the training every day. The way Santos takes direction, the way he understands it, the way he performes there. You guys write about him like he has an agenda on Santos. If you had the chance to work alongside in the training I am 100% you'd agree with him and his decision. If you were neutral on Enzo and Santos you'd probably agree he has just joined the squad and the position in the midfield is probably the most delicate to our football and to Enzo especially being a top player in that position. It is pretty logical he is used from the bench it the game needs or allows it.

I don't agree at all. I don't view the owners or their aims with such cynicism. I agree they want to make money of their business venture but not with the lazy or dismissive manner you describe it.

I don't want Jackson to go anywhere. He is what he is but a useful player to have. Two red cards won't change a thing. I think the boy is learning some valuable life lessons here. Neither of his crimes ended up hurting us. Pedro is not number 9 for sure. We can throw these "if's" back and forth but not sure that is necessary or that interesting. We can also talk about players like Lukaku. Not sure if that makes any of our days any better either 😃

Although both of those mentioned are not the brightest talents we can still potentially make money of them. Washington is 20 years old and we paid 16m Euros. DDF is 22 and we paid 12m Euros. Transfermarkt has them on half of the value we paid but find a good place and have a good season and it is back to what we paid or more. Not the most risky players to have on the books in any shape or form.

If they trust this core of young players are to be top they are not. And I think they are putting a heavy stake on young players like Enzo, Caicedo, Colwill, James, Palmer and so on to be the core for a long time. Never said it is a sure thing as nothing in this business is but to me it is better and more interesting to do it like so. I am really interested to see these lads grow into their massive boots. All will certainly not.

Chilwell, Sterling and Felix are not very easy to move if you want some money off them. Buying Felix I never understood although he was pretty good in some games. His head is gone. He is a vagabond. Many of the young players we have are much easier to maneuver. Clubs want top talents and we have a couple of them. Not all of the will work out. Never seen a club do 100% with player dealings. If we do buy Sporting we will have another club to nurture talent. I think Strasbourg worked. Having satellite clubs in general is another conversation. I don't know the exact squad size but we need at least the same amount as this season. Naturally PL+UCL is a different animal than PL+UECL but I don't think the club looks to win UCL. I think making out of the group stage should be a good result. Anyway selling is a big task for the club in the summer. No qualms about it.

Selling assets being either home grown players or teams or hotels or the like is not the invention of our owners. It is basically the invention of the governing bodies. The competition among clubs is so fierce every angle and loophole is used and found. We saw now Aston Villa cook the books with their ladies team. We are constantly criticized of selling homegrown talent such as Gallagher. Now Liverpool is selling 2 of their homegrown boys in Quansah and Elliot to the highest bidder. This will go on and on until every hole is plucked. The system itself and the lack of organization between clubs is such a mess that we should go back to the drawing board. No wonder big clubs jumped to Super League where the picture is pretty clear. Like it or not but European football itself needs to look into a mirror. We wouldn't do that if we thought mid-table mediocrity is enough. We want to compete with City and Liverpool and the rest of European powerhouses.
