  1. He really is a complete tool. The only people around here that were happy about him getting the England job were Boro fans which i think says it all really.
  2. I'm not saying he doesn't have potential, in the future he might have a chance with the england team but I don't think our 4th choice striker is quite ready to step up to international level yet!
  3. over on one of the rovers forums someone has suggested Matt Derbyshire
  4. I found this strangely sensible article in the times, what will McClown do? my guess is hope on Owen and Rooney being fit and f**k all else. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/ ... 260146.ece
  5. I rate Sidwell and think Reading might struggle next season without him, i think he'll be a good signing for you, though i doubt he'll be a first team regular to start with. I also quite like his wife
  6. I can't just post an emoticon without a comment can I?
  7. Have a look in here 2k (click on an image and it opens in full size) http://www.csrforums2.co.uk/album_cat.php?cat_id=7 Fantastic I know that stadiums these days have better facilities, are supposed to be safer, blah blah blah. but they haven't half lost something, and it's something that will never come back also. I'm not just referring to the bridge but all of them.

The rare times that I boot into windows i also use Opera, it's a cracking browser and properly free these days also
  9. Cheers for the picture bjd :) I love looking at pictures of stadiums how they used to be, back in the good old days. I have many happy memories of standing in the old Nuttall Street stand with me dad when i was a nipper, I thought it was the most amazing place in the world (in reality we were sh*te and in division 2 at the time ) and the stand was terrible as well, it looked like terrace houses on the outside with a corrugated iron roof, I remember once asking me dad why no one was stood in the stand opposite (the riverside) and he told me it was condemned, not that I understood what that meant at the age of about 3... anyways this post prompted me to try and find a picture of it online, which i failed to do, but i found this shockwave file just in case anyone wants a look, it's only 5 clicks long. http://www.roversonline.com/Shockwaves/ewoodstory.swf
  10. From the little I saw of the game the Charlton keeper was truly dreadful
  11. Newcastle haven't had much luck over the years at buying success and they have spent several fortunes!

Disappointed to see us in there but i f**king hate United Liverpool Spurs Arsenal Burnley Leeds in roughly that order... but definitely with the scum at the top and Scousers just below them... here's hoping Milan totally crush, destroy, humiliate, annihilate them on the 23rd, and i'm going to enjoy watching it happen.
  13. Of course you can call me mike. And when you head down here i'll be sure to buy you a few pints :) I have tried to correct some of the more serious grammatical errors in that post, as i was pissed off, tired and slightly worse for drink when it was posted, but the sentiment is still exactly the same.
  14. Suddenly out of the woodwork come the so called united "fans" they have there shirts and extensive knowledge of the club, they know everything about the club baring the history apart from today. But today they were all out in numbers, very few have a clue where Manchester is, very few have watched any matches either at the pub or even old trafford (should they find it), but out in force they were all today... c**ts. Yes they have "there" title back, because it's not ours, yours or le Arse, it's there's and only there's. God has given them the right to that trophy / title. At the start of the season 20 teams have a slight chance of winning it but no it's "there's" they accuse Jose of being arrogant but they are the most arrogant f**king bunch of c**ts on the planet Sky are celebrating the fact the c**ts have won it with completely impartial and true decent journalism (is there such thing) by giving the red faced w**ker a bottle of champagne (with which he wets his trousers with), did Jose get that last year? did Arsehole w**ker? did (fuc)king Kenny? get that treatment? no. Apologies if this sounds like a proper rant and it is, i went to the cricket today in Taunton rather than watch that plastic pathetic club have anything to celebrate. This is the same club who became who they are from profiting from the Munich air crash, they profited from it whilst leaving the widows and survivors to rot. f**k off you united scum
  15. not really a surprise, If i'm right in thinking doesn't this mean that they get points docked for this season rather than next? which is beneficial to them of course as they are all but down anyway.
  16. got to hold on to some sort of hope, even if it's only a glimmer....

My advice is not to use Microsoft products at all I have been using Linux (various distributions) now for over 6 years and i get no problems. Viruses, spyware, malware don't really exist for linux so i don't have any antivirus software slowing down my computer either oh and best of all it's totally free. If you can boot up your new pc with a linux installation disk when you first buy it and remove windows without ever using it you can get money back from it (though this is apparently time consuming).
  18. i don't know where these man city rumors are coming from? I can't see it. He's Bolton through and through, and Bolton don't exactly get on with City and is City a step up from Bolton? sure the fan base is bigger but other than that? I personally think he might end up at Newcastle, it's a massive club with money to spend, that would be a big step up. There is so much potential with Newcastle and so much potential for Allardyce at a big club it would suit both of them... perhaps
  19. What's the pub called, have you done it out as a proper Chelsea pub, flags, photo's n all that? It's the 7 Stars... there aren't any flags, but there are over 100 different teams represented in scarves hung up around the place (including f**king Burnley) obviously the scarf behind the bar is a Chelsea one, there is also a defaced man utd one where the scummers can't get to it done by myself featuring a picture of Glazer the notable exception is the lack of a QPR scarf... (note to John... can you please take down that claret sh*t!) I'm just on me way down there now wearing a blue t-shirt... not a Chelsea one obviously. But i'll be shouting for you tonight! big time! If i get chance and remember i'll try to take and post a few pictures from tonight Good luck and come on Chelsea!
  20. Do we though, perhaps other teams do but this year you have beaten us 0-2 and 3-0 in the league 0-2 in the league cup.... This is why i was expecting for you to pummel us on Sunday. It was might have been more due to the occasion than you as opponents that we were able to raise our game, but i don't know.... *sigh* anyways i got over it now..... please beat the mancs!
  21. Cheers for all the nice comments. Well today is another day and i'm getting over the disappointment, not only with the match but also the fact that if we played more like we did yesterday against other teams this season I would think that we would be much higher up in the league but hey ho. It made a really nice change to read good comments in the papers, and it was nice that the sun gave Cech got star man, which must mean something. Tonight i'm trying to cheer myself up with a curry which is a step in the right direction. Cheers for your comments John (Fansince65) i don't think i have heard anyone say anything remotely as nice about me though you did miss out my hatred for Arsenal though (it was Fansince65 that introduced me to this site so it's him you have to blame!) Anyways, i'm sure John will lend me a Chelsea scarf for the FA cup final, the CL final and when you beat the bar stewards to the league as well! Anyways i'll stop moaning now and try to be gracious, congratulations on beating us, and for a neutral what a match it was!
  22. Are all words that I feel cannot come close to describe how I feel at the moment. In the first half you probably should have wrapped it up, I was glad to go in at only 1-0 down. however I felt that in the second half I thought we were the better team, our downfall to me seemed to be with the tactics in extra time it seemed that we were playing for penalty's. the good work we showed in the second half seemed to disappear. It was only when Ballack got the last goal did we start to pressure you again. At the start of the game I honestly thought that you would humiliate us, perhaps not a cricket score line but not far off it. by the end of 90 mins i realised that this wasn't going to happen and almost believed that we might have a slight chance, but come the first half of extra time deep down knew that we would loose. All i can say is congratulations, all the best and fingers, crossed that you beat the red scum, in the final, league and (both of them) in the champions league. I could sit here and moan about the referee, linesmen etc... but ultimately at the moment all i feel is "some days you're the pigeon some days your the statue"
  23. I still have a very, very bad feeling that you are going to dick us today but.... Come on ROVERS!

That is Hilarious, sad, but hilarious Scott Meathead as he's affectionately known in the pub is one of the biggest w**kers you are ever likely to have the misfortune of meeting, he is loud, obnoxious, smelly and latches onto people and talks at them for hours at a time without anyone being able to get a word in. As well as the examples that John has given, he also argued with John about getting to Stamford Bridge, now I haven't been to the Bridge so I don't know, but I know that I would trust john's knowledge rather than that useless pricks opinions. other claims he has made include that he works in PR for A list celebs (we live in Tiverton, Devon for f**k sake) despite not being any good in goal he's a superb goalkeeping coach (I doubt he's kicked a football for 15 years at least!) there are many others no doubt but i try to avoid him as much as possible....
