The fact is, Morata has 53 goals in 236 games in the top flight so far in his career. That's a poor return however way you slice it. Some strikers score that in a season and half. You're holding out hope for him because of a 9 game run. I've simply had enough of making every and any excuse for a player ever since Torres. Took me a long time to finally accept that Torres was w**k and "El Nino" never coming back. At this point, I would prefer Batshuayi over Morata by far and I think it's a mistake for us to be looking to send Batshuayi out on loan again. He's a better finisher than Morata right now. If Morata proves me wrong and has an absolutely fantastic season, I'll be happy to eat my humble pie with all the joy in the world. But I'm just not holding my breath any more for players unnecessarily. Which is why I think binning Bakayoko right now is the right move and I'm happy we're making that move.

How does asking for a player who's clearly w**k and has been before Sarri to be binned relate to somehow being impatient with Sarri himself? The state of some of you lot on here sometimes is mind buggling.

Lemar's been off to Atletico for a while now. Perisic is 30 - I thought the issue most have with Higuain is his age? Bailey I think is one of those fantasy CFC fan transfers that just won't happen. Flipping Willian into Higuain and Golovin is a big win imo. Don't think they'll pay 80m but I can see them paying 70m.

It's not about giving Morata another chance tbh. Even he wants to leave. The lad's mentality really stinks. Disappears at the slightest sight of adversity. I think I finally see the idea behind the transfers Sarri has asked for. A CF who has played with him before A CM who has played with him before A CB who has played with him before Basically bringing a straight spine of players who are familiar with his system in to make the transition easier both for him and the players we already have. I think it's quite smart.

Well, he hasn't been with Sarri since that season so you don't know that. He actually performed a lot worse than he's currently performing in the 2 seasons before Sarri joined Napoli. Something like 17 and 18 goals in all comps.

Personally don't rate Rugani much. There must be a reason he hasn't broken into that team ahed of their 33+ year old CBs.
