Protest
Omnidroid.... We can't blame Benitez for last night? Are you having a laugh? He is the manager, he is to motivate the players, he sets out their objectives for the game and the style of play is down to him. I agree the players take the blame also however he waited for 82 minutes before bringing Ba on and Oscar was having a terrible game along with Ramires and both should have been pulled at Half time - that lies with FSW not the players. He is there to try change games with decisions and motivate players on the lines shouting instructions. He is f**king clueless as a manager.. If he is a tactician I'm better than Messi!!

First game at SB for 10 years
Pudge, I cringed when the chant 'stand up if you hate Tottenham' began in the MHU.. f**k Tottenham, why sing about them?

Protest
I would yes. I believe the protest is a must in terms of our voice as fans. We are the clubs core and without us the club would cease to exist. I think a number of things need to change before it becomes too late.

First game at SB for 10 years
Pricing. Used to go with my old man but then my brother got to an age where was wanting to go and because I had turned 16 pricing went up from £205 - £650. Was going to pay that but the club wouldn't confirm the location of the seat which led me to believe it was a restricted view seat or something like that. Considering I was a ST holder for 13 years previous to me turning 16. I turned down the ST and then just never had the funds to purchase a ST again. Had memberships but just never managed to get tickets due to work and family etc.

First game at SB for 10 years
You have your opinion and that is mine. I don't believe I am overreacting because it is exactly how I described it at SB nowadays. It's the semi final of a cup competition. I remember when that actually meant something. Mickey Mouse cup or not it's a semi final and I want to see passion from players and fans alike. I don't want some Delia f**king style announcer trying to rouse the crowd that should be already happening. Yorkeyblue - Whilst I do agree about the Shed etc the songs were limited to Carefree, Super Frank and the odd break out of hello hello. The fans don't know the songs and its just a dead place to go. Swansea took about 1000 and they outsang us. I laughed at their support but f**k me they showed real passion and fair play. They appreciated it was a semi final of a cup. Just feel out of touch with the club at the moment. It's not the Chelsea I remember.

First game at SB for 10 years
I do go mostly to away games and I agree that being a Carling Cup semi where it was on general sale it would be full of tourists etc. I just find the whole atmosphere around the ground to be cheesy and desperate. The fact the stadium announcer (Barnett isn't it?) has to try and rouse the fans prior to kick off for a semi final just shows how bad it's got and that is football in general. SB used to give me that buzz, I love atmosphere and I remember days when we played Brugge 2nd leg, Zaragoza 2nd leg, dippers when we were 2 down at half time, Farcalona when we went 3 up in the slace of 15 minutes and the ground was electric. That was when it felt like Chelsea FC, it felt like a sense of belonging but now I just feel its a shadow of the club I fell in love with all those years ago. I am embarrassed at the state of our club now to be honest.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
I felt sorry for Torres a bit tonight.. It isn't his fault he no longer has it in him to be a top class player and I didn't agree with booing him whenhe came off. I'm not a fan and I believe his presence at the club is causing us problems but tonight he was making runs which were not being picked out because we played such utter sh*t passes side to side defender to defender. I want him out because the sooner he has gone the sooner FSW will be gone too! From his point of view he needs out of English football. In Spain he will find some form again but here he is finished.

First game at SB for 10 years
And I will tell you what I am f**king embarrassed. From the muppet fans that attend games now, the stadium announcer 'let me hear you west stand', the club has become an absolute f**king joke. Roman is single handedly ruining the club... I am not ungrateful I am a passionate Chelsea fan who was there through the sh*t times and when Chelsea FC actually meant something!!!

Not the best way to win over the fans, Rafa.
I would understand if they still weren't top class players who have a lot to offer the club. These guys are still worth the contracts not just for what they can offer on a football field. These guys are priceless in terms of support for younger players etc.. As for the fat Spanish c**t.. I don't give a sh*t about him or what he says. The sooner he is gone the better!!

What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
Yeah definitely, letting him go will be a bad move. I would like to get Shaw in and loan him back to Saints for 2 seasons to carry on developing.
-
What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
I rate Baines quite highly but like you say a lot of money to get him. I would rather pay less and get a younger prospect.
-
What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
I have seen Coentrao on numerous occasions. I don't rate him at all. He is overpriced and overrated (personal opinion). I am half Portuguese so yes I have seen Coentrao at 17 and if I'm honest Shaw looks to have more potential and add to that he is English therefore counts as a homegrown. Coentrao is as good as Bosingwa at defending. Going forward he offers more but as a defender I don't rate him.

What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
No need to calm down, just making a point. Not getting shirty
-
What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
Why not have 2 top quality LB's? Both will get game time and Bertrand can be pushed forward.. THAT'S why
-
What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
For 17 he is a better player than Coentrao was at that age. When I say he looks a top player I'm looking more on his ability for his age.. Obviously your like the club and only look at price tags and names..
-
What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
Definitely.

What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
Shaw is one I'd have at Chelsea. At 17 he looks like a top player! If we are letting our English core go we should replace them with younger English versions.
-
FSW......Xenophobic?
Why not be more to the point and call him a fat useless w**ker
-
What is happening about Ashley Cole's contract?
Coentrao? Come off it, the geezers sh*t. Not even half the player Ash is. I'd would be even more pissed off if they got him in to replace Cole!!!

Sturridge sale confirmed
My view is that Danny is doing exactly what Rafa SHOULD have done when arriving here. He is adhering himself to the fans after moving from a hated rival. I'm not saying that would make us happy but they will be. If Rafa came in and said 'Chelsea fans are amongst the best in the world and what was said as Dippers manager was part and parcel of being a coach at a rival club' etc I believe a number of fans would have maybe shown less animosity towards him. I don't blame Danny for saying what he has, it's part and parcel of football. If he loses his arrogance I believe he will prove to be a top striker. Shame he didn't learn that whilst with us.

ESPN FC reports Lampard's out
Vocal protests are not working. It's time fans boycotted a game or 2. We are losing our voice at the club. We the fans are Chelsea FC not Roman and his tow the line gimps. Lampard will offer so much more than a footballing boost he will guide the younger players and aid their development which is priceless! He is the sort of player every youngster should aspire to be like so having him around is key to their development. To some it may be time to go but for me he HAS to stay!!! Roman and his cronies are clearly not listening to the fans hence the appointment of FSW and now letting lamps seemingly leave.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
Tommy I am one million per cent against Gourlay and Buck etc and the sooner these tow the liners are gone the better also. Torres has been given his role as number 1 striker, he has failed he has nowhere to hide now because he has everything he wants. The board sacked Robbie because Torres wasn't firing and got dropped, my opinion on the saga, he was a £50m investment that a stubborn board would not want to admit was a failure just as Sheva was a failure etc. I believe they actually feel its managers' faults he is not performing and not the player himself.. If you see other threads I have voiced my dissaproval at Roman, Buck and Gourlay to the point of boycotting games as we the fans are Chelsea FC. Like I said previously, I wanted him to do good i backed him when others wanted him out but now he has no excuses he is still showing that non interested attitude and demeanour on the pitch. He has some top players feeding him chances and he isn't taking them.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
RFC_CFC I am most definitely not after praise for my posts I am simply adding my opinion to the thread. If I believe something then I will air that view on a forum which associates itself with my club. If I disagree with a point by someone I will engage in debate and give my views. Some people obviously take comments too seriously on an Internet forum.
