  1. I think my Everton friend would strongly disagree with this! He always bangs on about how they were robbed against Villarreal in 2005.
  2. Yeah no real complaints with that to be fair. Thought their 1st goal was very disappointing considering our recent defensive displays. Agree with the fact that it's gutting but nothing compared to previous semi-finals and how they ended up turning out....
  3. Erm no. He won't play. Jose says everybody wants to play, including Petr Cech. But his condition doesn't allow him to play.
  4. From his press conference - Jose says everybody wants to play, including Petr Cech. But his condition doesn't allow him to play.
  5. My vote would be for either Cahill or Ivan, both will know how to rally the troops! Don't want to sound pedantic, but I think the timing on the title should be changed to 19:45 BST as its being played in the UK. Some people could also get confused with ET and what not....
  6. I believe it is a grand total of 0 on the road so far for him, all 12 of his goals being at the bridge. So Eto being out for this leg isn't a big concern for me, although we could really do with him for the return. As long as we don't concede early and aren't sloppy like moments in Paris, then we should come away with a strong result. I'm going for a 1-1 too, Andre to get our away goal!

Who cares about the media really. Just puts more pressure on to Liverpool if anything. We live for the big games. We won there in 09/10 and we are going to do it again this year. Maybe Brana might fancy his chances at scoring a header or two also!
  8. Personally I am going to have to disagree with you. As of late I believe Luiz has really stepped up his performances, especially against Sunderland where in my eyes he was our MotM. Although he may have had a poor game last night, no chance in hell is he our weakest CB at the moment. In fact I may be inclined to say Terry, he just hasn't looked himself and he didn't exactly cover himself in glory yesterday. At present I would have to say Iva and Luiz are probably our strongest CB pairing, Terry just looks to me that he is off the pace ..... don't know if it is a post injury blip he is going through but for me he hasn't looked anywhere near as commanding as he usually is. Also on the hands behind the back thing he does, surely its to prevent him getting a dodgy handball call against him?!
  9. Not exactly having his best game, still don't understand how he got pushed about by the striker for the 1st goal and conceding the corner that lead to the goal!
  10. Making hard work of this now, can't seem to defend these balls flying into the box!
  11. Anyone who plays Ultimate Team on Xbox and is looking for a formidable opponent then give me an add. Name: Dourish Bros
  12. Is there a highlights show or will it just be on Chelsea Tv later?
  13. Wouldn't really be that extreme my self, very lively game with quite a few goal attempts just a shame we didn't get the Hazard penalty...don't know what the commentator is on about cause SWP goes into him... Although not convinced at the moment by Rami's performance out wide, would like to see either Moses or Studge.
  14. No doubt about them being a considerably harder opponent, but not sure about them being more fresh. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they playing Europa League in Greece tonight. Then again will be dependant on what sort of team Pardew plays tonight and whether he decides to rest players for this game.
  15. Not a bad shout starting with Oscar, attack was looking far more potent once him and Sturridge came on. But RDM will probably continue to stick with Frank in the middle of the park. The only change I would like to see is probably Sturridge for Ramires on the right of the wing, Ramires didn't seem his usual bundle of energy self so I doubt he was 100% fit having had that illness. Is Luiz going to be available?
  16. Wow this could be a complete rout at this rate!!
  17. Hopefully Sturridge imo, he looked lively against City when he came on.
  18. Just sorted out my team the other day! Will join the leagues as soon as! Joined both! Common the Munich Heroes!!
  19. Promising performance with Torres probably being the most lively of the team as well as Ramires, although one note of concern for me was Mikel. Seriously don't get how in some games he is clearly the most composed player on the pitch and then in other games he just gives the ball away far too easily under pressure. Looking forward to Wigan, where hopefully we will be able to dictate possession with ease and come away with the 3 points.
  20. Genuinely got goosebumps at the part when it was Drogba's penalty, and it flicked backed to Moscow for the sending off. Is that the music that was in Gladiator btw, at the end before Drogba takes the penalty? It always gets me One of the best videos, take my hat off to you sir!
  21. Just scored against Korea, with a decent header apparently.
