If you asked me before Christmas I would ha e said Costa. Atm its a tossup for me, maybe an edge given to Lukaku based on age and the fact that he is still improving every year. Emerson Roma 30 mill Youri Tielmans 30 mill/alternatively Frank Kessie And finally, pay the excess of 100 mill to get Sanchez and Morata. Seems lkke a lot to spend 170-180 million, but I feel this could take us to the. NExt level and give us some much needed depth.

Problem with buying Griezman is you would need another striker. Hes not a 9 and plays either as a secondary striker or winger. We went through this when we signed Costa. Some posters claimed he "wasnt good enough for Chelsea" and that we should aim higher etc. When pressed on alternatives it was either something unrealistic like Lewandowski or pay less for someone like Immobile who was "just as good" ( loooooool btw) Its an exercise in futility. Its Lukaku, Morata or Belotti that we can aim, any other players are either a tier below or unavailable. If you dont think they are "good enough" for Chelsea thats fine, but they are the best alternatives out there and beats relying on Batshuayi and Abraham.

I think what bothered me most about yesterday was his complete lack of effort. Not being on form is one thing, but he looked like he couldnt be arsed. Several times he got beaten and just decided to jog or walk back. Never thought Id say it, but he made me miss Mikel
