Someone explain to me what Matic is contributing to the play here as I just cant see it. Constantly late in and 3 of his last 4 touches has led to a loss of possetion

That Zouma/Moses side is gonna cause some problems for us defensively. Sorely missing Azpi to cover for Moses

LoL no. Starting Zouma changes so much og our gameolan regarding our build up play and Azpi is just not good enough offensively to play wingback. We are after the three points and to impose the way we play best and that means our best players start. Theres zero chance we start Zouma.

Well its best in the league, better then Zlatan, Costa, Aguero and Kane so I think your expectations are a bit too high. But if you feel like we should go after Suarez and Lewandowski over him then I can see how you feel that way. Personally I think he would walk into PSG and Juve whos playing Mandzukic and Cavani. Bayern and Barca not so much, but no striker on the planet would cause thats probably the number 1 and 2 in the world right there. As for the rumoured available there arent many who are better then Lukaku. Griezman isnt a lone striker and neither is Dybala. Bellotti comes from Italy and Italian players generally struggle to adapt to the English game. Mbappé is still just a kid and thats pretty much it. Personally I dont think Lukaku is good enough off the ball for how Conte wants to play (purely my opinion based on his first months here) so Id rather go for someone else, I just dont think there are anyone avalable who fits the bill if Costa leaves. 60-70 mill for Belotti seams a steep gamble to me.

I believe we actually debated whether or not he can improve a few months back and some actually argued it was unlikely lol. Romelu Lukaku is the only Premier League player to score 5+ goals with their left foot, right and head. 10 left 7 right 6 head I think that debate has been firmly put to rest

Costa and Matic been woeful first half, need to get it together

Zouma makes Cahill look like Hierro, and even Cahill has questions about him on the ball in our system

With what we have to give up offensively to play him Id rather not. This isnt the time to try and force Zouma into the team, Id much rather play Pedro at wingback if Moses cant go.

Matic was also responsible for their two biggest chances with his schoolboy marking of John Stones. CM is a must upgrade for me next season, both Fab and Matic have major weaknesses when paired with Kanté. To be fair I think that was @just vomplainkng about Luiz and in that first half he was all over the shop. Thankfully he got it together
