1: Agreed, he had a few good games in the CL and one against Leceister. Thats pretty much it. Hes a decent squad player fringe starter for a mid level PL side. He isnt good at retaining posetion, he isnt creative and hes a pretty bad passer of the ball. What he has going for him is work rate, thats not enough to play any considerable amount of time for a club of the calibur we want to be. 2: No disagreements here, not sure why you keep bringing this up lol Thats not saying much though...

Missed the part were I said anything about this. All I commented on was Meireles. He was woeful last year. Decent at the start of the season, but he had some games were I was wondering if was trying to lose the ball the moment he got it. Thats one thing Meireles does exceptionally well, turn the ball over. He cant keep posetion to save his life, whether its ten long range efforts in a row or just completing sub 50% of his passes. I do agree that we shouldnt just buy players for the sake of buying and Im not a huge fan of Dembele. Not giving you any arguments about our lack of RBs either..

Please tell me what attributes Meireles has that makes him a "good player".
